Hi sa mga kapwa ko Floridians!!! May nagpunta ba sa inyo sa Tampa PhilFest09? This was April 3-5, 2009. Ika-14th year na nila and maraming magagandang nagyari. I particularly enjoyed the food being sold there..he he he he he he...kahit isang taon pa lang nawala sa Pinas, namiss ko talaga ang dinuguan, papaitan, pinakbet Iloko. pero kakatuwa kailangan kang bumili ng food coupons para makakauha ng pagkain, di puwede ang cash.

They have foods from particular regional groups Ilonggo, Bicolano, Ilocano, Boholano, etc...

yes, I was :star::star::star: !!eto may kinakain pa ako ngayong UBE ensaymada from Bohol!!!! Although somebody was not impressed ( kasi pata[os na lahat ng activity kahapon kaya wala na gaano siguro napanood), the best thing is they were able to put up a place where Filipinos here in USA could gather and share cultural heritage annually. In fact, we witnessed the awarding of recognition from the county declaring Philfest ( http://www.pcfitampa.org/philfest/philfest...ilfest2009.html ) as one of the major events in Hillsborough County.
