I voted it's a TOS violation to muddle the tongues of one's enemies by uttering the word ' boink' .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

The argument that homosexuals do not deserve equal rights, including the right to marry. People have different views on homosexuality. Specially if you're religious, you'll not understand homosexuality. Saying that they don't deserve this or that is their opinion, therefore it doesn't violate TOS, people are entitled to their on opinions.

The argument that women must have a certain body type.

It's their preference. Most people have a certain body type preference, therefore it doesn't violate TOS.

The argument that blacks and hispanics are fairly targeted by police because they commit a disproportionate number of crimes.

It's based on facts. you're not attacking people when mentioning facts.

MY VOTE: The argument made that asian men have smaller genitalia and are thus inferior to other men.

THis is not based on facts. IT's like calling blondes dumb. It is said to attack asians.

The argument that gun owners as a group are culpable, each time a crime involving a gun occurs.

It's their opinion. It's like legalizing drugs, some people believe that it will increase consumption, and some people think it'll decrease crimes related to drug traffic.

Nessa, cool. You reasoned it through. I appreciate the input.

Saying that they don't deserve this or that is their opinion, therefore it doesn't violate TOS, people are entitled to their on opinions.

What if it's my opinion that Jews or blacks or indians are subhuman and therefore deserve to killed or enslaved?

Are all opinions protected solely because they're opinions?

Or can some opinions, when written out, be in violation of TOS?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

the part that they are subhumans would be a violation, you're degrading them. but not the part you think they should be killed or eslaved, that's the way you feel about them, people will jump on you, because that's a terrible way to think, but it's the way you feel it should be and you're sharing with people.

I was not intending to degrade, intimidate or incite violence, so no :P

p.s. and blondes are not a protected group. maybe they should be though

i chose the female body type option. stating a preference is one thing, but saying someone is inferior/ undesirable/ etc. because they don't possess this one idea of perfection is offensive and MANY posters say it just to start a bunch of ####### from angry, offended women

I think it is a violations of the TOS to say. "STFU!" :bonk:

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
