I have received nothing free in the US. AND have never looked too.

it is purely by chance that I met my Husband and I will fight tooth and nail to be with him.

Thank God he was able to see the person that I am not the foolish decisions that I made in the past.

Good luck with your process.

AND I HAVE DONE NONE OF THAT. My husband and I are purposely NOT having children until this is all resolved one way or another.

I have never been to a doctor in the US because I can't afford to pay out of pocket expenses. My husband gets crippled with taxes because he can't file as married and he works a s**t load of extra hours to support both of us.

MAybe it would be better that you get all the facts?

I am not the same as every person who is illegal.

WHAT PART OF ILEGAL IS IT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND?

KNOWINGLY OVERSTAY?

FALSE SSI NUMBER?

WORKING WITHOUT A WORK PERMIT?

YES WE KNOW, YOU ARE NOT THE SAME AS THE "OTHER" ILEGALS, YOU ARE FROM IRELAND AND SPEAK ENGLISH, THIS MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?

You are illegal. Any way you look at it YOU ARE ILLEGAL. fight tooth and nail all you want. No one said you can't !! but you are illegal and you need to wait in Ireland for the process to be complete. If my husband has to do it, so do you....

Do you know how many people want to be here in the US? Do you have any idea how many people are separated from their spouse because they are following the procedures? You don't think they love their spouses? The fact that you want to fight tooth and nail for your husband doesn't make it ok to stay here.

BTW.... illegal is illegal.... for you to say you never took anything from this country is hilarious.

please don't post how bad you have it. You are here in the US. There must be a reason why you don't want to be in your home country.... hmmmmmm

and if you don't have kids, why don't you both move to Ireland and wait it out. USC's can travel anywhere.

You need to go to the Illegal immigration issues web site.

Since you speak English, are from Ireland and different and better than the others who are here just as illegal as you.

ccarter, I have already CORRECTLY answered your question. If you continue to respond to the harrassment, they will continue to harrass. You have to stop responding. As for their advice to look at other forums, check out www.immigrate2us.net You will see that the information I have provided is correct. It will actually be a very short wait for you and you won't need a waiver.

BTW: The route she is taking, AOS from within the U.S. IS PROVIDED FOR BY THE INA. By doing this she is not jumping ahead in line. She did enter legally and therefore is eligible to do it. Who can blame her for doing what is allowed by the law?

I in no way condone the use of fake SS#'s for working.

The OP has received the advice requested and this thread has gone way overboard. I am closing this thread for TOS violations.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
