What information does the VO need about my previous marriages?

previous divorce certificates and reason as to why you divorced.. they will MOST LIKELY ask this.. Of course, also who you divorced.. she/he may need to answer those questions.. but like everyone says, it depends on the visa officer that day..

cool thanks, I have done all that. she is just worried they will ask her if I will divorce her. I told her we have been together 3 years, why would I waste 3 years of my life to divorce someone.

haha, that's why you need a lot of "ongoing relationship" stuff (phone calls, emails, letters/gifts, western union receipts, webcam photos, online chats, airline tickets/stubs) that kind of stuff.. we are planning to have the interview soon, and I have 3 backpacks full of stuff plus all the stuff she has too.. got about 10 albums and plenty of boxes (custom info with her address and mine) we sent to each other..

haha, that's why you need a lot of "ongoing relationship" stuff (phone calls, emails, letters/gifts, western union receipts, webcam photos, online chats, airline tickets/stubs) that kind of stuff.. we are planning to have the interview soon, and I have 3 backpacks full of stuff plus all the stuff she has too.. got about 10 albums and plenty of boxes (custom info with her address and mine) we sent to each other..

yes our interview is next month, I dont have 3 back packs full of stuff, but we have enough proof of a bonafide relationship. We have tons of video together too. It says on the embassy website the VO wont look at everything you have,but its good to have more than less.

Another important thing to have is your I-864 and your tax transcripts ready.. we have them for four years now (2005-2008) + 1040s (2005-2008), + W2s from 2007,2008 (so both types and they can't complain) and also my employment letter (stating where i work, how long, how much).. if you are near the border on the poverty guideline, or have years you didn't make quite as much (2005 me was just starting, now I easily support 15 people), you would need a letter explaining why.. what other stuff do you have prepared? haha, I can compare to see if I am missing anything on my side..

We also have packages (packages we sent back and forth) with custom info on it (both our addresses) , wedding invitation + copy, my US passport + copy (notarized).. also I'm bringing one to the American Citizen Hour (ACH) on Monday to notarize too (they should note that in the system), phone call statements (from my house in US, and also her house to mine), Skype phone calls statements (2 years worth - 200+ calls per month), letter of evolution of relationship (how we met, and what we did every time I came back) + notarized, .. I'll think of the others later, lol..

airline ticket copies + stubs, jewelry receipts, hotel receipts..

I own my own business but it is a new business and I have proof and taxes for that, but I also got my cousin to co sponsor just to be on the safe side, he is a Doctor. Everything I have prepared is proof of me visiting 3 times, pictures, emails, videos, myspace screen shots of messages, msn messenger screen shots of us on video, divorce documents, drawings she made for me because she is a talented artist, I posted her pic of a drawing she did of my neice and I on my family website back in 2006 so I photocopied that showing the date, one year of proof of calling because they only keep one year on record, pictures and details of gifts we bought and her parents bought for me and my family, pictures of my neice wearing chinese clothes that we bought for her in China and toys we got her haha, receipts, proof of my money I sent to her, my 3 years tax returns as well as my co sponsors with I-134 forms, letter from my bank and co sponsors bank stating when the account was opened, deposits, ect. I have to write an affidavit of our communication through msn messenger, skype, and yahoo messenger and since I own my business, I have to write a statement because I dont have an employer to write an employer letter. I am finishing up the evolution letter and statement on my travels there, and a sample of my DNA, hahah kidding. You know, China has billions of people, it is grossly over populated, why not get rid of a few? haha What is ACH?

every Monday, the Consulate has a time (hour) where Citizens only can go in and ask questions.. supposedly people say they make a note of that, and that you are serious and asked a question.. some people say it helped them because they got the same person from before.. sort of like a pre-interview.. lucky our interview is on Tuesday, so we can attend it on Monday =) it's pretty much like their other things... just to prove that you are there for her/him for the visa interview.. and that's why I'm planning on getting a copy of my passport and evidence of relationship letter notarized.. even though I already have them notarized here already.. an extra $10-20 won't hurt, but if she doesn't get approved, that will..

You have the GUZ number, so tell them "if everything is ok", haha, and that you want to notarize some things, like me.. copy of passport and evolution letter (even though I have both already done here).. that way they can't say anything on those two..
