my fiance has recived her passport wiht out a visa!

this is after we have completed all the request of the consulate.

attached was a letter stating that she needs to send information regarding her arrest - however she was never arrested - in any way.

she does have a case of a complaint SHE made open with the police - but she was never arrested.

how do we proceed? what can we send if she hasent been arrested?

what are the chances to get this sorted out??

Did you provide a police certificate at the interview? I know that most consulates require this, but there are some here and there that have different rules!

If you provided a police certificate at the interview, what did it say? Did it say "no record" or something else? Check it really really carefully and see what it says. If it looks okay, try to get another one (hopefully that doesn't take too long) and also maybe get a letter from the police explaining the complaint that she had lodged with the police and how she is not involved in it, but simply the one making the complaint.

Did they tell you that you can submit new information or did they just say that they would contact you?

Good luck!

thanx for all the answers

the police report we handed in at the interview was no good. that is they wanted the police report sent directly to them.

so we did that. i shouyld say that in the police report we did hand in only 2 weeks older there was NO mention of NOTHING!! its one page long and sais nothing.

in any case, i cant just walk in to the poice statin and ask for a letter. and above that, it seems that there is a pending case with my fiances name in the police computer.

any thoughts??

You just answered the question. Address the issue of the pending case in the police system.
