I brought everything that was asked on the interview letter. I made two packets--1) my copies including original birth certificates, marriage certificate 2) copies USCIS can take. That way, when I had to give any copies of evidence, I still had my copies in my file, so I knew which evidence I gave them. Good luck!

My wife and I had our interview today in San Diego, and she was approved! The interview was very easy. The IO confirmed some information on the I-485. He asked how we met, where we went for our first few dates, where we got married, and who attended the wedding. He wanted to see our joint bank account statements and our lease, and he wanted to see our pictures. He took away my wife's EAD cards and I-94 and stamped her passport with the I-551. (We didn't have to ask for the stamp.) I showed him my passport to prove I was a USC, and he did not ask to see either of our certified birth certificates or our marriage certificate. (We had submitted photocopies of the certified copies of these documents with our application.)

I think we ended up waiting for about 30 minutes for them to call us, and then the interview was only about 20 minutes.

Now we can finally relax!

You should be receiving all three or four(if you applied for I-131) at the same time, or within the same week if submitted concurrently. Give it a few more days. At times mail gets lost too. I-485 NOA is important since thats the one that has the Alien #. If you don't hear from USCIS in a few days, call and inquire from the USCIS.

Hi all,

I had my green card interview and all went great. Was very good and easy. Arrived there, waiting a lil after other 2 couples, got scared because the couple before us they were called separated (don't know why), but in our case they called us together. We had a man IO that was very nice, talking friendly. Put us to swear, asked the names, address, when we met, date of marriage, he asked my husband where he is working, he looked over some pics and in the folder with proofs, took my EAD and I-94, stamped my passport and said to wait the card in mail in a month or two. And that in 2 years I need to fill another form to go out from conditional to permanent. That was all!! Yay!!!
