Hi ,

I am starting this thread for people who has submitted their AOS appllications in March,2009 and obviously adjusting from B1/B2 visas. We wd all keep in touch and compare each others progresses. I got my NOA s from MSC. See my timeline for more. Waiting for my NOA2 for probable interview date & EAD card production. Hope all goes well.

March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April
April 2, 2009 : Biometrics done. Total time taken with wait 20 mins.
April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.
May 7, 2009 : I-765 case online. Card Production ordered.
May 11,2009 : EAD card received.
May 12,2009 : Applied for SSN.
May 18,2009 : Received SS card.
June 08,2009 : Received Letter for Interview ( scheduled on July 14 th July )
July 14th : Great Interview. All done in 20 mins.
July 18th: Online status - Card Production ordered. Thank God !! I-130 online status : Pending
July 23rd : Welcome to USA & I-130 approval letter recieved. Online status still shows pending.
July 31st : Received conditional green card

3/25/11 - Received reminder from USCIS to file for ROC
5/6/11 - Sent I-751 Packet to CSC via usps
5/9/11- Package delivered to csc.
5/11/11- Check cashed electronically by CSC

05/17/09 - 05/21/09 - Preparing papers - (i-130, i-864, i-485, i-765, i-693, g-325a).

05/22/09 - Mailed out papers (Priority Mail - since its Memorial Day Weekend)

05/26/09 - Papers delivered @ 9:06 AM and signed in Chicago by JH

06/03/09 - Checks got cleared after 8 days.

06/05/09 - Received NOAs for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

06/12/09 - Received BioMetrics letter. :) Hurray!

06/31/09 - AP Approved

07/01/09 - EA Approved & Card production ordered

07/06/09 - Received AP

07/08/09 - Interview Set for 08/20/09

08/20/09 - Interview and got APPROVED

We sent our AOS on March 31st and it was received on April Fool's day....we might have planned that one better, ha ha.

did u already receive your approval notice for I-130?

Nope i never told i got a approval for I-130. God bless me .......... I am waiting for that. See my timeline. I got Noas for all three : I-130, I-485 & I-765. I didnt apply for an AP as I have an overstay. I have got my biometrics done and waiting for NOA 2 telling me two great messages " EAD card production oprdered " & " Interview date ........ " Be in touch ..........
