Salam Allykum everyone, just wanted everyone to know that we got two touches, one on 10/3 and 10/5, and now today or rather yesterday 10/13 we finally got our NOA2 approval notice in the mail! Allhumdiallah. Now on to NVC, and paying lots more money. But at least we got our first part approved, now if only my husband can remain calm at the interview.

I wonder how many more April filers are left?

Take care and thanks for always being there to support us, sweetcitywife

Congrats and I am unsure how many are left. Come on over to the october 2009 NVC thread. Alot to learn over there. I'm halfway through already. Just waiting for IV bill anyday now.

Hello to all fellow April Filers

I have not posted in a while because honestly nothing has happened good with my case, untill now. In September I recieved a Notice of intent to deny by the USCIS, and after reading there comments I was not confident they would approve the I130. But after sending them nearly 5 years of phone bills, cads, letters, emails, chats money remittenaces and photos. They have approved the petition today, November 27. Now on to the NVC and I have all of the forms filled out just waiting. Just because of what we went through I believe the hard part is over, because our first petition was returned on the failed interview but the USCIS is over rulling the embassy based on my evidence.:dance::dance::star:

Hi everyone,

I mailed mine (I-130) in March but received the NOA-1 in April so I'm counting myself in this group. I sent in a money order too but didn't even know about the NOA1 until 2 days before I got it - since someone signed for the mail I figured they had it. Ignorance is bliss. Now I'm developing a personality disorder from checking the USCIS website so often (even knowing that it won't show anything so soon!!).

Has anyone heard anything about the H1B visa apps and if they might slow down our processing times? I'm kicking myself for not filing in Feb (they seem to have had great luck).

Well, good luck to all of us!

Samantha
