Any April I-130 filers?

WHOOO HOOOO... APROVED! Checked the USCIS website yesterday and it was updated as approved on Aug 20 (and YES, I did update my igors timeline!)... My best wishes to all those waiting... they are a comin'

Sorry to hear about the RFE Cornbread, but once you send them what they need, your approval should roll IN...

Now I just have to wait for NVC, we have all our docs ready to go using the short cut!!!

Just got an RFE email today Cornbread I feel your pain

Just got an email from USCIS, unfortunately it's a RFE

I went through the copies of all the documents we submitted, I've no idea what else they want from us.

However, I did find a problem:my husband didn't answer question 2 (are you related by adoption)and 3(did you gain permanent residence through adoption) on I-130 form, the answers of which are both "No"

So could that cause the RFE?

Anyway, good luck to all the April filers who are still waiting for NOA2

Hey Marie and Eyedo , I am sorry for your Rfe and I have no idea about mine because i see on your timeline that you both had touches on the 13th and I also did as well but yes Eyedo that could be the reason why because they do stress that you answer all the questions on the form but if so just answer and give it back for your approval and Marie what was your Rfe for ? And Cornbread do not worry send what they need and get your approval and to all that has been approved Congrats to you and the rest of us still waiting be encouraged and let us trust God together He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly all we can ever ask or think according the power that worketh within. Inspite of the wait I trust Him not man because I know He is greater and what He has joined together no man can put it assunder!! God bless all!!

We don't know yet, haven't received the RFE in the mail. Since my hubby is underway, the mail is not the most reliable now.

My RFE was for my marriage certificate. I had submitted the hand-written paper I received from the civil registrar. USCIS wants the computer-generated version of my marriage certificate ::sigh:: Lance has them so he'll have to pay 2500JA to FedEx it to me.
