Any April I-130 filers?

Just checked USCIS and got another touch so I guess that means it has left the background unit. Hopefully wherever it goes next will bring our approval.

To all those who just got approvals , congratulations and all of us that are still waiting let us be encouraged our time has come. We just have to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding, acknowledge him in all our ways and he will direct our paths!!

The touch today may also be from you calling yesterday. Many times when you call you will get a touch the next day.....

Yes very true , but whatever it is at least it's doing something, but prayerfully it brings our approval and soon.

Yea, im tempted to call tomorrow but not sure if they will say "this person calls to much, we will put his to the side for a bit" That would suck...so I try calling once a month

Why you say that? I don't think they do that, besides you just got to be polite but persistent in your status info on your case. That is how I found out where mine was. I was polite but persistent as the person asisting me was very polite as well.

Hello April Filers!

I received my NOA-1 today. 10 days right now. My service center is Vermot, but I was forwared to the California Service Center. What do you guys know about when/why it gets transferred to a difference service center??? Goodluck everyone, hope to hear not NOA-1's arriving soon...

From what I've been reading sometimes they shift the workloads to CSC. I would be super happy to be at the CSC instead of the VSC. CSC is alot faster to get your NOA2 statistically. Good luck on your journey ours starts 4/22/2009 and will be mailing our I-130 to the chicago lockbox.

hi were also filed I-130 april 2009, and my husband received noa1 april 9, we filed it april 2, but until now we havent received the noa2! my hubby and I was so depress and frustrated, hope we will received the noa2 soon, and i was so depress whenver i check on the uscis site about my case coz still pending it almost 3 months now and yet still pending, hope everything will goes well to all of us here waiting, waiting is a very hard time rather than processing the paper work that we need... GOD BLESS TO ALL OF US HERE who's waiting for the result of our cases.

I hear you and like the rest of us all understand how you feel but please be encouraged, keep prying and trust God he did not join us to our spouses to keep us apart , he said what he has joined together let no man put asunder. Trust him and God bless you!

I called today, but it gave me an automated response after giving me the status which is exactly the same on the website. I pressed 3 and got more options to talk to a representative. I didn't want to talk to a representative because the option says that the time of the case has to be after the processing time. Did anyone call and chose the option anyways and talked to a representative?

Yea i have spoke to a rep when i called before, but now the CSC processing website has been updated and now the site says for

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 November 15, 2003

Before it had 5 months and now it says November 15, 2003. Not sure whats going on over there but from the looks if it, it is going to be a very long journey.

Based on the March Filers thread, our friend Paris Heart wrote this:

"Listen all, I found something interesting out, everytime a person calls and they go to get your file, the file is again placed back where they got it, and not in same order they pulled it, calling can truly delay your processing of your petition!!!! I was told this in a round about way from USCIS and my conservations with Washington lately."

So I guess I won't bother calling until I hear something from them.

now the CSC processing website has been updated and now the site says for

Before it had 5 months and now it says November 15, 2003. Not sure whats going on over there but from the looks if it, it is going to be a very long journey.

I just checked it too.They also changed the timing for K3 -5 months now..It used to be same as IR1.. I was ok with 5 months,but not ok with 7 months..

Maybe it's time to go tru K3 route

This is just insane..!!! What on earth are they doing!! Sorry guys.. I hope this is fixed and everybody can move one... Again wishing you all a smooth journey ahead.. I am waiting on the NVC process..

Heres what I get when I go to USCIS

"Portions of the CRIS application are unavailable for scheduled maintenance.

We anticipate that the application the will be available by 1:00 AM on July 16th, 2009."

A fix must be in the works : )

For an I-130 (U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21) at the California service center, it now says November 13th 2003. Obviously something is really wrong here. Lets hope they fix it soon.
