Any April I-130 filers?

Hi... My case got approved yesterday.. after an expedite request... after 2 long years of waiting for my wife... finally!!! Cant wait to see my wife .... waiting for NVC processing .... I hope you all get approvals very soon...

what i'm wondering though is if they took 3 months to expedite your case

then it looks like the rest of us are really gonna have to wait the full five months then

They screwed up my first expedite request 3 months ago.. so I put in another.... they took 5 days approx because of holidays...

I applied for an expedite before.. they mixed it up.. i thought they didnt approve it.... but they actually mishandled it.. I then put another expedite request.. and they approved it..

he probably put in the expedite when he sent in this I130 (his I130 took 3 months to approve) and they messed that one up so he put in another one and it took 5 days to approve

I do wish everybody unites with their family as soon as possible.. I have been waiting for 2 years and I know how it feels... If you feel you have a valid expedite reason and you believe I can help you please send me a PM (but believe me.. my opinion does not matter .. all I can say is that if USCIS thinks they are being fair they will accept your request)

Hey all,

Well we got military expedite on 07-07-2009 a touch that day and a touch on 07-08-2009

I checked my email yesterday (did that every day) before i went to bed and always checked USCIS, but nothing changed.

Today i checked my email and got an email on 07-10-2009 that they send us an approval notice on 07-09-2009!!! I checked USCIS too and they said last touch on 07-10-2009 and I clicked on our receipt number and there Good news, on July 9 an approval notice is sent!

OUR I-130 is APPROVED!

I am so happy! I almost can't believe!

I really hope you all get approved or get touches because that really help, just to know they did look at your case but hope all april 2009 filers get good news soon!!!

Any hopes this week?

I HOPE CSC gets working and we see many approvals this week. I will be hitting the 3 month mark this week. What date on the NOA1 should we go off of is it the Received Date or Notice Date?

Just got off phone with CSC and told that my case was in the background investigation unit and we also had a touch again yesterday which is the very reason why I called today , so I have no idea how long it stays there but I pray that they do whatever it is they need to do so that we get going and the process can be underway for my Man of God to come home where he belongs. I am continuing to pray for everyone and trusting God that none of us have long to wait.

Yea, im tempted to call tomorrow but not sure if they will say "this person calls to much, we will put his to the side for a bit" That would suck...so I try calling once a month
