good for you to meet with you wife again! i am cancelling my trip that was scheduled tomorrow because of real estate transactions, swine flu and being not knowing of when USCIS approves or REFs our case.

i don't think i can rely on the online case status, i don't see ANY update/touch since USCIS initially received my case, i rush home everyday after work in hopping to see something in the mail, i wish i would never deal with USCIS again in my life!!!

the police reports is usually good for a year, but check with NVC for the country, not sure if you can do the medical now.

Just going to chime in here as I am an April filer as well. Our NOA1 is dated April 15th, 2009. No touches since. Been separated for 7 very long months, but am going over for a visit in 2 weeks.

Anyone got tips on how to print out our call history from Skype? We both have good high speed internet so have been using that a lot more than chat since you can actually see each other, it saves the history but was wondering if there is a better way than just printing screen shots showing how much we talk. Sorry I couldn't reply to your note earlier because i wasn't on the internet for a week or so.

But on SKYPE is a forum and you can download chat history from Skype!

I did it but i just can't remember it anymore how I did.

Let me think... How i got there...

I think through visa journey, there was a question about skype history

or i did use google?

But when you type history or something like that at the skype website you will find a link on that skype forum how to get this!

And it works pretty fast!

Hello, does anyone know about visa pro? They email you your case status. I received an email from them and on their site it said my case was last updated 7/7/09. Does this mean i had a touch but it doesnt show on the uscis website?

Im confused and hoping.

Yep,that's a touch!

Did you check your portfolio page on USCIS website?Since your case was updated, the date in the fourth column should be changed

My husband and i got finally military expedite on our case after his commander wrote a memorandum!

Yesterday they approved it and USCIS website says last update 7/7/9 we got a touch!

It took a while for this expedite because at first they were not helpful at military helpline, so we started to email with them and before we knew what we had to do... than my husband was in training, but now expedite is approved!

Hope our petition get approved soon without RFE's and wish that for you all!

Called today and spoke to an officer and notified me that my case hadn't been assigned to an officer yet and should take 5-6 months from the date filed.....

That really sucks! They need to start. How hard is it to just check a file and to at least see if there is missing or not? Give us a status or something. Even a touch would make me feel comfortable right now. 3 months pass by and nothing?

i did print that history, like from when my husband called me or i called him on skype, date, time, duration etc.

Its like you say, better something as nothing!

Hi... My case got approved yesterday.. after an expedite request... after 2 long years of waiting for my wife... finally!!! Cant wait to see my wife .... waiting for NVC processing .... I hope you all get approvals very soon...

what i'm wondering though is if they took 3 months to expedite your case

then it looks like the rest of us are really gonna have to wait the full five months then
