Did he/she sound rude to you when you asked?

No he wasn't rude at all, I asked the officer to check if it was on the shelf and he told me that it was still sitting on the shelf and he couldn't tell me when someone would work on it except for the maybe july or wait the full 5 months since you sent the application in.

Hello everyone, I just called CSC and was told they are working on my case but have not made a decision yet? Please anyone who has called before and got similiar response PLEASE,PLEASE COMMENT!! Thank you very much!!

This was the answer I was hoping to hear....guess my time will come soon enough

I am sure you will cause you are right in front of us. I was just curious as how long they take for their decisions though cause our first touch was from 06/18/09

The touch from 06/18 was USCIS putting your case in their system! Approval can come at anytime Dearheart, just stay strong!!!! Best wishes and Happy 4th of July.

Spouses of H1 visa holders can come to the united states any time by applying H4 visa.. no USCIS .. no bureaucratic S###T... H4 visa are processed by consulates within no time.... Spouses of F1 (student) visa holders can arrive any time by applying for F2 dependent visa... again no USCIS B.S. .. visa processed by consulate within almost a day...Spouse of L1 (temporary employment) visa can apply for L2 dependent visa... again.. no USCIS B.S

Anybody other than me angry about this? WHY THE F$$K cant spouses of Citizens come on a dependent visa (NON-IMMIGRANT VISA)??? No.. dont give them a Permanent Resident status... dont give them privileges... ATLEAST LET US BE TOGETHER!!!! HOW FRIGGIN RETARDED!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

How did you get thru CSC and speak to a representative? Please explain (what number to dial.

Also, regarding I-130, I didn't indicate N/A on question 22 of I-130 would this be a problem?

Do you think I should contact or forward a letter to CSC indicating that I meant to put N/As there?

Anyone got tips on how to print out our call history from Skype? We both have good high speed internet so have been using that a lot more than chat since you can actually see each other, it saves the history but was wondering if there is a better way than just printing screen shots showing how much we talk. Hopefully we will start to see some approvals soon, the USCIS black hole has been the longest 2 and a half months of my life. Get to head back and see her July 5th for 2 weeks!

good for you to meet with you wife again! i am cancelling my trip that was scheduled tomorrow because of real estate transactions, swine flu and being not knowing of when USCIS approves or REFs our case.

i don't think i can rely on the online case status, i don't see ANY update/touch since USCIS initially received my case, i rush home everyday after work in hopping to see something in the mail, i wish i would never deal with USCIS again in my life!!!

Happy 4th everyone! NOA2 will come, hope it comes SOOOOOOOOOON :star::thumbs:

Called USCIS today, the rep said that the California processing center is taking 5 months to process!!! :crying: But I believe that is just the "standard company line" and has no relevance... She was just repeating what she was told to say to everyone... At least I pray that is the case

I keep looking to see if anything is moving and so far... not too positive signs... We will have to see

BTW... How do you add your timeline to the bottom of the post???
