Hopefully you don't mind one more member, been a little tardy at posting with as busy as work has been. My NOA1 date for my I130 for the CR1 is April 6th and NOA1 for my I-129F for the K3. When I log into the site to check my status it says received my CR1 on April 14th and K3 on May 5th, so a little confused why dates are different from my hard copies. Hopefully we will start to see some April approvals soon, but only about 3 weeks until I get to go visit Aungkana for a week or so.

Thanks Kingdomrunner and all april filers, im glad were in this together to support each other. This waiting is killing me. I keep checking my account only but no touches, the same number 4/14/2009. Its making me crazy. That is awesome if they are really working on the april petitions, im praying for something.

Take care and good luck everyone, sweetcitywife

Good Morning all,

Any of you guys tried calling USCIS to check the status of their application? I'm thinking of calling them sometime next week or so.

I have not called yet. There is not much they can do until it is outside the normal processing time, even then it is iffy if they wil do anything for you. I have dealt with them before and I really don't get any answers or get anywhere in my case when I call. You can try to call, but they will pretty much give you the standard robotic answer of wait till you case is outside the processing time before we can submit a case status inquiry.

I'm just afraid they lost my petition or something. I want to make sure they have my application and that they 'will' work on it. I haven't received any touches since the time I received my NOA1.

I have not gotten any touches either and our NOA1 date is the same, April 22, my timeline says April 23, I just did not get around to change it because it was a mistype by one day. But I have heard you can get an approval without any touches and according to the processing timelines in VJ the NOA1 with the date of April 22 is being processed(approximate), so hopefully we should hear something shortly.

I havent seen any April filers report any approvals yet so despite what VJ says I dont think their working on April yet. I have a NOA1 dated April 7, nothing yet. Im confidant they will get to us soon. Hang in there !!

I don't anticipate an approval from me till mid to late july, and if that is the case I think I may be right on with an interview date some time in Jan, which I will travel to accompany my wife with.

Hello Brian and Dona, an interview date in Jan? I hope i dont have to wait till Jan for my husbands interview, i would die. Im hoping an approval in July, NVC in August and September for Interview. Why do you think you have to wait till Jan? That is 7 months away, i dont think it takes that long. Hopefully not.

No touches for me either. I dont think VJ is correct either. My date is April 13th for filing and no touches or anything yet.

Just waiting and waiting.

Good luck everyone, sweetcitywife

CSC currently seems to be moving at a glacial space... They seem to be processing about 100 I-130 applications a day.. There are about 60000 applications... before mine (April 9th)... at this pace my NOA2 will be approved in approx 2 years... Things better change soon...!!!:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry: ... I have no clue what made them go so much faster during April-May and what made them apply the brakes in June....:angry::angry::angry:

Lets keep fingers crossed hoping that things change soon enough....

Well I have no choice but to wait for a jan interview, because I will not be able to go over there untill then. And it usually takes about 2 months to get through nvc and about 2 months to wait for an interview, then the nvc will forward the case to the embassy about 2 months prior to interview, so I am predicting case complete at nvc in late sept and notification in nov for interview in jan

Hello, who is it??? Im dying to know. I wonder if he is the first one? And what his timeline and situation is.

I wish it was me. It seems they always send out approval notices at the end of the week. Since im in Morocco and we are five hours ahead i have to wait till 8am or later in the US to check my status on the USCIS website to see if there is a touch. I had a touch on my other old case that i cancelled on June 10 and a few days later my mom said i had a notice from them for my exs case that it got denied and rejected, we were so excited, the bad ex husband cant go to america!!! Thats good greencard users shouldnt be allowed, only good husbands like my husband who actually love me and take care of me and all of your spouses should be allowed to come. Anyways, im rambling. So it seems that if yu see a touch you should get a notice a few days later, but not sure if this is always true.

I do have a question about living in the spouses country. I live with my husband is his home country Morocco, but now im finding out that maybe i need to go home, cause if you are gone to long from the US, you have to prove domicile in the US when they send you the I-864 AOS form. So i have to prove to them i live in the US and only in Morocco temporarily. I have a bank statement as i still have an account, and i have other mail with my address on it and i have tax forms that i just filed for 2008 and 2007 and 2006, do think this is sufficient evidence to prove domicile or do you think i should go home after the approval notice comes but before the I-864 from the NVC comes?

Thanks for any advice in advance and good luck to everyone!

Im hoping we all get NOA2s today or next week, or by 4th of July, wouldnt that be a great 4th of July present?

take care and hugs, sweetcitywife
