Today marks our 11-month anniversary. I REALLY hope we get out of VSC before we hit a year! I think I'll go roll in some moss... :P

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I dont think it would hurt to have the congressmans office do it if they are willing. You may have to make a service request in order to get the expedite.

I really think it depends on the operator as to how they will handle it once you're outside the processing times. So, probably best to let the congressmans office directly with the liason there.

ask the congressmans office to put in the expedite. You can also put in a service request at the same time with VSC. Double exposure.. Also, I sent a Fedex letter to the Adjudicating superviser at the VSC. I got an e-mail the next day with my status.

Well if esposadetucho gives me a cut of the moss selling profits...perhaps I can retire. After all, it would only be proper, considering I was the founder of the idea.

UPDATE!!

Ladies and Steve.. Husbie called USEM again and he was able to convinced the lady operator to cancel our K3 interview and put it as a CR1 date instead.. So my sched goes back to April 22 again!! :dance:

Now this is starting to be more exciting.. :P

P.S. I wanna be nice too! :wacko:

Another week and you hit the 6 month mark and can officially nag USCIS for an expedite / service request.

Yeah we put in both expedite and service request and got our congressman on the case. We got approved 2 days after being denied the expedite, so can't hurt to go all out. Good luck! With moss and karma stars, you should be getting ur approval soon :star:

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered
