I wanted to chime in say that the recent "bickering" is not what VJ is or should be about. I know that the frustrations of the process can be difficult, but we all have to try and keep our wits about us and resist the temptation to create "conflict" and negatively affect the community. VJ is about welcoming each other and embracing our differences. I myself have been through this process and I know how hard it can be. Helping each other through the process and supporting each other was always something that made me feel good. People that want to "spoil" that atmosphere come and go, but the good people will remain.

That said, if you want to ignore people then look under their name in their post (see drop down menu). There is a link to ignore them if you want to . All their posts will be hidden.

When I started on VJ in 2007 the fil forum was pretty tame. Maybe it was a lull time as Charles mentioned. Then came a few, "Why did you choose a Filipina?" threads. This always turned into an ethnic fight which turns into a male vs female fight. Like any fight these threads attracted a lot of VJers, especially the Instigators.

Anyway, that is what I have noticed over the last two years.

that topic is a classic as renaissance period lol. i think since 2006 ive seen that one countless of times lol... i wish we will pin a topic that says what not to post (or im just dreaming. im not here to declare marshall law ) hehe... anyways i like this forum. people come and go. usually the people who make noise the most, are the one that usually fade once they get in the US (just my observation)...

Make comments in a Post either direct or implied toward another member that are purposely designed to upset, antagonize, make fun of, belittle, or otherwise instigate an argument that takes away from the personal enjoyment of the Forums by other users.

VJ was not this bad during our time.. We are trying to help too.. but some filipina's here need to have dignity and respect for themselves in order to be respected by others. Some threads, are just nonsense which make every reply nonsense too and irrelevant. Forums are for public, and people from Philippines, from other countries can read it, which they can react and give opinion about it. Respect there opinion, rather than making a reply "calling names" "cussing" "filipinas talking in tagalog to talk bad things to others"... this is not right!

When you say something someone said was nonsense and irrelevant, it's up to you. Every topic is relatively interesting to some, retarded for the others and important to the rest. The whole point of this thread is about a fellow VJ member "upsetting, antagonizing, making fun of, belittling and ridiculing" another member which is a clear violation of TOS. It was never about whether a topic opened was interesting, relevant, or demonstrating moral values or not.

Again, everything is relative. You can post things that may just be ultimately off the wall if you think it's a good point of discussion. But criticizing a member for being too open or too graphic about how she/he does things is uncalled for.

that's a lot coming from someone whose husband posts comments such as "what a silly post", "what is felt?", & "what is spelt?". but that is, of course, just my opinion.

Ok let me rephrase my statement earlier so you'll see it from my point of view.

"got Waxed topic" - I find it SOOOOOOOO INTERESTING!!!! OOOOOHHHH I can't stop raving about waxing. Big deal to you? Join in. No? Ignore it.... Very very very simple.

And I can keep it going on and on and on and on... It's an one online community and people are open to discussing it. Does it hurt you? Does it? If it does, again you can opt to ignore it.
