Hi

My EAD and AP expire mid-August but I want to apply in plenty of time to ensure I have no gaps in employment (i believe you can apply up to 120 days before expiration).

What is the best way to do these docs? I saw you can e-file for the EAD - has anyone done this? What about the AP?

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

I e-filed for my renewal EADs. It was quite easy to do. You still needed to paper-file certain components of the application but there was a receipt that you get through efiling that you print off and include. What happens is your file gets 'received' faster than sending the whole application by mail and you are further along in the line. Plus, you know they get the fee payment right away and don't have to worry about that. I would recommend pursuing that route - it was quite straight-forward and well-explained. Just follow the instructions and send off the extra information by mail and you'll be fine.
