I got home from visiting my husband in Egypt and found two NOA2s for my I-130 and I-129F, as well as a letter from NVC with the AOS fee bill! I wasn't expecting to be approved so soon, and don't even have the stuff ready for the Affidavit of Support forms, but I guess I will get on top of that.

I am a little confused about what to submit with the Affidavit of Support, the paperwork Ahmed received (packet 3) from the embassy in Cairo said for the sponsor to submit a letter from your employer if you're working, and a letter from the bank showing specific information. But everywhere else I see that people are required to submit their last three years of taxes. Should I just go ahead and submit everything to be on the safe side? My sister is going to be a co-sponsor because I am unemployed since I am a full-time nursing student, so I am unsure what kind of information for myself that I should supply, and what kind of documents I will need to collect from my sister. Also, when you have a co-sponsor, do you have to pay two AOS fees? I guess I will give a call to the NVC on Monday if nobody has any answers to these questions :)

Anyway, I am sooo happy. I feel like things are moving along smoothly, and inshaAllah they will continue to do so.

Concentrate on the CR-1 as it's a MUCH better visa than the K3. If done correctly "almost" as fast also.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I wish I had this information when I was there just a few days ago. Unfortunately I have no access to 99% of this info now, and it costs a loooot of money to send documents from Egypt. I guess we will just continue to pursue the K3. But thanks for the link :)
