April/04/2005- Visa journey began!!

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

08/21/2006 - DS-3032 & I-864 fee Generated 08/22/2006 - Emailed choice of agent

08/25/2006 - Choice of agent accepted 08/28/2006 - IV bill generated

08/29/2006 - Mailed I-864 bill 09/09/2006 - Mailed IV Bill

09/16/2006 - Received I-864/09/18/2006 - Mailed Completed I-864

09/23/2006 - Mailed DS-230/09/28/2006 - Message says information rec at NVC

10/07/2006 - Message says they are sending an RFE 10/18/2006 RFE returned

IR-1 VISA ISSUED IN PLACE OF THE K-3 11/29/2006

Congratulations :thumbs: Now it will be off to NVC. Whilst this stage involves more paperwork it helps to pass the time as well as the feeling of being more involved in the process instead of just the waiting as with the service centers. All the best.

I hope we will hear from VSC soon, since our timeline is almost identical to yours.

I am so happy for you, but I'm jealous too! Our I-130 application was received by the VSC on March 1, 2006 - and we have heard nothing! Anyone else out there with news from VSC??? I don't know if I should try to contact them or just keep waiting. I'd hate to find out there was a problem and sit around having done nothing for six months! On July 1st, our I-130 application will have been at the VSC for FOUR MONTHS with no NOA2. :wacko:
