It's cold out, Maureen. I sure didn't want to get up this morning, but glad I did to read the news about Staashi and Charles and Nessa.

Another Sunday....let the countdown begin.

dang, i put on my capris and short sleeves today, well i think i will tough it out today cuz i don't feel like changing.

Im wearing a heavy sweater under these clothes. I hear this week sometime we will see snow. Im sick of this sh!t, quite frankly.

I will try to make grocery shopping and cleaning a fun day...lol The sun is out but haven't stepped outside yet to feel how warm or cold it is, hopefully, it will be a nice day. Have a great day everybody.

You just described my day! I think I'll pretend I'm doing something else. Oh well at least hubby has the entire day off which makes it all funner.

We booked our nyc trip yesterday and we got the grand hyatt via priceline for only $110/night! It took me a while but I found a parking lot a block away that will be aroudn $60 for both days combined. The hyatt wanted $55/day! um...no!!!!

Anyone know the section that has all of the Egyptians? Hubby definitely wants to go there at night either the first or second night we're there.

olivia, as much as you like the written word, you would devour the Twilight series. The authors writing style is amazing and Twilight was named the best book of the decade. My daughters friend borrowed book 2 and finished it in 2 days! I saw a Kindle at a customers house, very cool gadget!

The girls have watched that movie now about 8 times. Usama knows just about all of the lines by heart. They were at the part where she and he are in the forest near the school and all of a sudden Usama's like "say it....say it outLOUD!". Then where he asks "are you scared" hubby shouts, "yes you should be scared, he wants to EAT YOU!!!". lol

I didn't even make it past 10 am on sleeping in. So much for that. Funny story Bridget. Upon waking up this morning and having time to sleep on Twilight I feel like it's Northern Exposure meets the Interview of a Vampire for the 2000's with the new teen heart throb Rob. Oh yes I even watched the special features. The Director really seems to be the driving force behind the sensation of bringing the movie to life. She has such a spunky business attitude I like it.

Happy Sunday Mena Where did Saturday go? Hey all you Twilight fans ~ Wish I could share your enthusiasm ! Where to start? With something positive...I loved the Cinematography and the bird's eye view helicopter shots. Washington state is absolutely gorgeous, nice to see more filming here instead of Vancouver doubling for Seattle.

My 12 year old niece visiting from AZ drug me to a midnight showing. Fueled by her enthusiasm and an Espresso, I entered the theater hopeful. Bella and my niece instantly connected the first few moments of the film as their lives shared certain similarities including ballet school. My initial hopes for the film quickly faded from predictability, Bella's lack of a believable drive and need for Edward (beyond his cute exterior). We know what Edward's drive was. Bella's exaggerated facial expressions and tripping over her words most of the movie distracted me from what little plot there was.

I watched this movie again w/ director's and actor's commentary as they made fun of the movie. It's hard to take this film seriously when the filmmakers don't. I heard that Drew Barrymore is attached somehow to the second one. Would be interesting to see how she directs. I asked my niece what she learned from this film, and her response was, "Edward is so cute!" Are we still teaching our girls they need rescuing, and just replacing Prince Charming with The Prince of Darkness?

Happy Sunday MENA!

Today is Irish Movie Day in my house! The Matchmaker, The Full Monty, Circle of Friends, Secret of Roan Inish, Boondock Saints

A good friend found some tickets online for 7 days in Ireland in a castle hotel (airfare included) for $700/person. We're going in May, but starting to get REALLY excited So she's coming over today for a movie-fest and to obsesivelly google information for our trip
