What the hell is going on? Another senseless killing

There needs to be easier access and acceptance towards mental health. Lots of people are stressed about their lives, not all have a healthy support system. Its sad innocence people are killed.

(I'm listening to CNN talk about yesterday's murder in NY at the community center- more senseless deaths)

Yeah, California is going to spend millions to keep people from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Lots of people do it, but it is never covered by media so I keep thinking what's the big deal? After the grid/guard/whatever is installed, they'll find a workaround, either somewhere else or same bridge, different spot.

Hey I like guns too but I am not going to pretend they are good for society. In the wrong hands they cause enormous damage. Why don't we just give rocket launches or surface-to-air missiles while we are at it. I would be responsible and enjoy having one but what happens the second some sick freak acquires one. Bye bye airplane. My fetish of guns should never override a freakin police officers right to live. No amendment was created to protect a person's right to own a gun and expected to override a police officers right to live.

You're responsible and I am responsible. The problem is what about all of the other freaks and weirdos who own guns. The same weirdos who carry this ###### out again and again. That is what concerns me. The only way to fix that is get guns out of their hands. I would rather our spouses, families, friends and community be protected than simply having the luxury of enjoying my guns. The reality is gun bans / restrictions work and the numbers when using overseas examples of such restrictions prove it. Conservatives banned fully-auto and restricted semi-autos in AUS and the homicide rate went down. 302 murders a year there. Whereas 317 die a week here.

Think of it as 9/11. For obvious reasons we all have to go through extra security checks. Otherwise we could all just say well I am not a terrorist so why should I be inconvenienced. Therefor if they relaxed the rules, as a side-effect, terrorist would be able to use planes again and again.

He want's firearms banned. I'd like to see a picture (notarized of course) or BY handing his arsenal over to a LEO for destruction to support his posts of the past few days. Failure of this ... well ... nuff said.
