How many RFEs possible on one application

Hi everyone. Got a question.

If you get an RFE for example on i-485, does that mean what you get the RFE about is the only defect found on that application or if they find another defect, you simply get another RFE?

as far as i know you can get invidual RFEs. e.g. one can get RFE on I-485 , I-765 etc etc either for lac of evidence, or for unfinished form or something else. Others may get better imputs. Please fill out your timeline.

If they find something that requires a RFE they will go over the petition and check it well. They'll hit you up for minor ####### that they wouldn't normally bother with at the same time.

My RFE notice said its for i-485 and when they get the RFE I should get EAD in 90 days. The RFE was about current pay stubs and employer letter for my wife (USC)

I have heard of people getting 3 RFEs for different items. Technically, you can receive an RFE right up to the interview, however, try not to worry too much about it. Answer the RFE and provide the missing evidence. You will soon know one way or another if you need to provide anything additional. The good news is that you know they are actually working on your application and it isn't in some pile who knows where just waiting its turn.
