The automated system keeps saying the transcript will be mailed to me. What is the option when you call the number to receive by fax?

sounds like you already chose the "mail" option...if that won't be fast enough, do as, "I Miss Her" suggested and call during normal business hours and request they be faxed to you....

to correct myself, there is an option to have them faxed to you, but, i think you need to speak to a live operator for you to do such...i thought maybe you had already requested to mail them...mailing your transcipts to the last address on file wont be a problem to them, but faxing might require you to verify certain info with a live rep, i presume for your "identity" safety

Thanks, I called them on Saturday, will call them again today. I am just waiting for my 2008 returns to show up in their system. My accountant has not received a confirmation that the IRS has accepted my return just yet.

it's about that time i request my transcripts too...i filed 2008 as soon as i had my w-2 (january) i'm hoping the 2008 transcripts will be available, if not i will basically duplicate the last I-864 i sent NVC in september, with the exception of 1 more dependant...good luck to you

is it really really necessary to submit the transcripts???? aren't just the tax returns and w2s enough???

you can submit your tax returns along with your w-2's...i prefer the transcripts, it's a much "neater" package...and the fact that transcripts are issued by a goverment agency gives me "piece of mind" with regards to avoiding any RFE or doubt....good luck

thanks for the reply, actually its been impossible after all to get transcripts out of my sponsor and this matter has made me such a paranoid over this time just requesting for those...so i jsut want to feel that no, haivng the tax returns and w2s is a way of kind that will HOPEFULLY, OH GOD PLEASFULLY work!!!!!!

taxtranscripts are only a matter of preference...tax returns and w-2's are accepted as well...i just ordered my last 3 years of transcripts this morning and hope to receive them ASAP, but if not i will use copies of my previous 1040's w/ w-2's....good luck
