I hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. Hubby and I must go out and buy a lawn mower. Its getting to that time of year. I am going to enjoy watching him mow the lawn for the first time :) Luckily my father is here to show him how!

Good luck with the interview! I hope you get Ms. Wong as an officer. She's really nice and made the interview stress free. She seemed very light hearted. The only questions she asked were if we were still married and she asked my husband the same questions that were on the AOS paperwork ie Are you a spy? etc. I also hope you have as good of luck as we did. We didn't get another physical done but she gave us time to get one done right after. We interviewed July 17 and were approved July 25. 10 year perm. residency in hand by August 3. AOS took less than 4 months start to finish.

Happy Caturday! I guess we won't do squat today. I wanted to go shopping for clothes and possibly go to the park and take pictures. We both have nothing decent to wear to the interview, but noooooo, my husband has to work. So here I'll be.

Have a good day everyone , and enjoy!

Wow that's awesome! We still haven't gone for AOS yet since moneywise something else always seems to come up. That's his number one goal though once he gets his CNA job. After that he'll start saving for nursing school but that's about a year away I think.

Why would you need another physical? Does the one he had in Egypt expire after a certain period of time? Wouldn't his annual physical at his doctor here be sufficient? Geez so much to research and I haven't looked at squat yet.

Bridget,

I thought on K-3 you had to adjust status within a year -- but I don't know for sure.

And yes, the medical exams do expire. They only have a one year "life."

Enjoy your weekend all!

Counting my blessings!

His visa is good for two years so I assumed we had until then for his status to adjust. I know he can't exactly do it the last day since it takes a few months but I figured he could file around 6 months before the 2 year mark came around.

Kelly omg you look fabulous! Are you still doing WW? I'm thinking of doing it again but I'm waiting for my house thing to settle since I'm just under too much stress right now. (i know...excuses, excuses)
