Did any of you even watch the Town Hall meeting? Apparently not. Pretty typical of these parts, if you ask me. Anyway, here's a video that shows a young woman from Heidelberg asking President Obama a question in a very thick accent. But it doesn't matter, does it? I imagine some of you are still going to come up with some half-cracked theory about how she was planted there by the CIA or something. Or hide behind a technicality like, "yeah but Heidelberg is not in France, so technically no French asked a question, blah blah blah." LOL!

Sorry, I can't figure out how to post a video. I've tried a couple of times before and it never works.

copy the letter and number combo after the = in the youtube URL and then click on "insert special item" in the VJ reply window and click on "Insert: you tube" and then paste what you copied into the box that pops up

Thank you for taking the time to explain but I already did all that several times and nothing. I see the space there but no video.

Story line: Obama takes no questions from French people at france town hall meeting.

EasyRider replies: You people are picking on Obama for nothing, he took a question from a lady with a strong GERMAN accent. (and I can prove it)

Thank you for admitting that the article you posted, including the title of the thread is a "story." It's a work of fiction. And in it's implication, it's HOGSH!T.

I posted the video of a young German woman because that's the first one I found. I'm not going to do the work for you. I watched the town hall meeting in it's entirety without the aide of talking heads or pseudo journalists. I'm perfectly capable of constructing my own opinions on the matter instead of relying on other people to make up my mind for me. The article and your post is evidence of how lazy people are when it comes to searching for the truth. The truth is that there were several French people that asked questions. I remember one in particular that resembled a young Buddy Holly asking about the France's role in the war on terror and an even younger woman that mentioned she was a dual citizen of the US and France. She claimed to be "also French," when Obama said she couldn't ask a question. Ultimately, the young woman was allowed to ask her question. Do they not count?

So the only thing I was trying to do was to show that the article was 100% false in its entirety. That is all.
