Lysol's Neutra-Air line is pretty good. I think Febreeze (sp?) has something similar. They're probably toxic, but they do the trick.

Alternatively:

(1) Suggest that your friend eat only oats.

(2) Get a urine hat for your toilet (see Figure 1). I only learned about these last week while editing a nursing textbook. When your friend asks you what's up w/ the toilet, say that it's out of order. Hand him a bucket with a look of regret. The urine hat looks serious.

Build an outhouse for your friend and set it way way back in the woods. Ironically, there are creatures on this earth that love that stuff. You could become one of those creatures.

I need something to kill my friend's pungent odors.

Urine is not the problem,he likes to take a dump every time he visits me.

Fart fans (aka: bathroom ventilators) are a very effective solution to your problem. My house has 2 bathrooms and I installed 2 electric Nutone vent fans above the toilets in the ceiling that vent up into the attic of the house. I also installed them with a 30 minute timer instead of a light switch so they don't run all day wasting electricity. The fans also vent the steam from taking a shower, so the bathroom does not stay humid after a shower causing mildew. Spray deoderizers only mask obnoxious odors. The vent fan replaces sh*tty smelling air with dry fresh air. Which solution is more desirable?

Home Depot, Lowe's, and just about any other home improvement store sells the vent fans. You can even get them that come with an electric heater and a light all in the same unit. You can do it yourself or hire an electrician to install it.

I had a friend that went straight to my bathroom to take a dump nearly every time he came to my house. It was obvious and very annoying. He claimed to have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but he is such an infamous cheapskate I accused him of doing it just to save on the cost of toilet paper. I told him to bring his own toilet paper in the future or go to a gas station to drop his load before hitting my door.

Now I just have to tell the guy to turn on the fan when he does his business and to leave the door closed when he is through. Besides the problem of him using up my toilet paper supply, at least with the fan he doesn't end up stinking up the whole house. The stench ends up in the attic and eventually to the outside of the house through the roof ridge vents.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995
