Hello, I am active duty military stationed in Alaska. I am in a highly mobile position, so I can deploy at any time. I am using Brian Wright in Thailand to help me through the process. In two weeks he has gathered all required documents/info, and they are on there way to me now. (fed ex says they are in china at the moment) Some may say a visa Lawyer (if you can call them that) is not worth it, but to explain the process and get the info I need from my fiancee (Naan) is sometimes a bit rough. My thai is not the best yet, and her English is not the best yet either. So Brian's office has, in my opinion, been invaluable so far.

My biggest questions to date are what is the deal with CSC? I hear stories of couples getting in and out service from them, and others who have waited for a substantial amount of time with nothing. I know I will have no problem getting an expedite. Is there anyone else out there with the same scenario? Or anyone who has a thai fiancee at all? And what was your experience with CSC?

As far as making it to an interview, I am a bit worried about proof of ongoing relationship. Naan has no internet access, and we just text, and phone (she calls me and hangs up, I give her the call back.) I am worried they will not be happy with that, But I speak enough thai to get by, and it is just easier than email, or chat. Also, will they get bitter if our text messages are in thai?

Ha, I think I am a bit paranoid, but who doesn't worry when the fate of their love rests in too many other peoples hands...

Alot of our proof was cell phone records showing texts and calls. We only sent 3 conversations from MSN (although we use video chat in MSN every day)....still got NOA2. If you are providing conversations in Thai, you might wanna translate them.

NOA 2. Really?

Hey, i just filed for K1 Visa through the California Service Center -K1 Visa was approved in 31 days from NOA 1. Its going fairly fast now, seems like an ongoing trend. As for proof, as long as you have pictures together. Print out pictures and lable them correctly. Print out the phone bills and highlights, maybe note that she calls and hang up so you call her back. As for my fiance and I, he calls me and I usually call him back with a phone card. its very costly to talk on cell phons w/o using a phone card. So you can make a note of that. In addition...if you have passport stamps of you being in Thailand visiting her or credit card usage in Thailand, that would work as well.

Don't worry, there are many other avenues if she doesn't have internet!

Thailand is VERY strict on proof of a bonafide relationship. Multiple trips with LOTS of pictures are the best way to prove such.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Thailand is VERY strict on proof of a bonafide relationship. Multiple trips with LOTS of pictures are the best way to prove such.

That just has seemed to be the case in the very recent past. If you have an air-tight case and all of your paperwork is in order, it should not be a problem. Writing a statement in plain English about how you communicate never hurts. Having it notarized wouldn't hurt either.

No such thing as a "air tight" case when it comes to proving a bona fide relationship. NO slam dunks either!!

More ammo the better and pictures and multple trips are number one. I've been denied because of lack of such!
