If my income exceed the 125% of poverty line requirement am I required to provide deposit/withdrawl history for my checking account? Will proof of income (income taxes) and employment suffice or should I still seek this information from my bank? Help!!!

Why did you need to prove it if you had your tax returns and a letter from your employer? I make 40,000 for myself. So, according to the form I need to prove that I make 17000 or more, which I certainly do. Does anyone else have more advice? I need to provide a copy of my birth certificate????? Any other hints?

If that ? is for me... hubby had an income shortfall between Nov 2004 & March 2005, this put his 2005 taxes below the required amount.

- It asks for the most current years tax return, some people still send 3 to be safe

- The USCs birth certificate

- Employment Letter

- We sent pay stubs

Doesnt' it????
Chapter 19

Proof of U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident status isrequired for joint and substitute sponsors and for relatives ofemployment-based immigrants who file this form. Petitioningrelatives who have already filed proof of their citizenship orimmigration status with Forms I-130, Form I-129F, I-600 andI-600A do not need to submit proof of their status with thisform.

Frankly, I missed that part, will have to check it again - the whole f-g form is different now. Will have to take a look at the original wording of the form I filled out.

Anyways, making a photocopy of birth certificate is simple enough - UCIS doesn't even require certified copies.

If my income exceed the 125% of poverty line requirement am I required to provide deposit/withdrawl history for my checking account? Will proof of income (income taxes) and employment suffice or should I still seek this information from my bank? Help!!!

My husband just sent his w-2 of 2005 after we were requested for an addtional evidence. After a while we got EAD and an I-485 interview mail, which were mailed at the same time.
