Right now I'm reading "Cesar's Way," one of Cesar Millan's (the famous dog trainer on Nat Geo,) books. It's a VERY good book, for any of you Cesar fans out there. He starts out describing how he started off as a child in Mexico being different from everyone else for his love and fascination of animals, and his dream to come to the US to be a famous dog trainer. Right now, he's describing his methods and tricks, how he discovered them, and why they work. I'm dreading finishing the book, because I want more!

I am reading The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman. It's the 3 in His Dark Material series. The first 2 are The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife. Both very good. I've never seen The Golden Compass movie and have been told not to watch it because I will be dissapointed (I don't want to be dissapointed like I was last week when I saw Harry Potter :( ) The trilogy has armoured polar bears, witches, animals that can talk. What else can you ask for?

I love fantasy books.

Have you read David Eddings? Just a wonderful writer and his series are really gripping, I found myself very involved in the stories

I have not. I will pick up one of his books when I'm done this one. Do you recommend one to start with?

Finished Escape. Wow! A very abusive scenerio. I went to the bookfair on Saturday and it was jammed. Absolutely jammed!!! I'm going to go back on Tuesday for 1/2 price day. I picked up only about 50 books on Saturday as I was having to select and read the backs of books that I obtained by reaching over people in front of the stacks. Ugh! I'm going to start now The Other Boleyn Girl.

I picked up another 80 books at the Bookfair on Saturday. Wow, some REALLY good books too! I'm just finishing up The Other Boleyn Girl and it's very good. I'll be torn on what to read next though given all my new books!

I'm now reading Somerset Maugham's The Merry-Go-Round - and enjoying it very much.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm going to start mine tonight! Or tomorrow. lol. I'm down to the last few pages of An American Wife. MAN, I hate that book! It's been excruciating trying to get through it. LOL

I'm reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" omnibus edition.

I got a really gently used copy for like 15 bucks. It's much nicer than having to buy them all separately.

I love the author, he's so witty.
