Yeah - I've heard that before, but chasing half a dozen people around your sprawling property with a samurai sword isn't terribly practical.

For obvious reasons - the firearm is the number one choice of suicide method in this country, at least among men. Its also got the highest chance of success - and bullets to the head are almost always fatal.

Guns are chosen because they're more effective, don't require physical strength to use and because they do the most damage in the shortest amount time.

Maybe it's not practical, but it sure is funny.

I don't know if its "funny" per se, but it is ridiculous to claim that the outcome would have been identical if the man had been armed with some other weapon.
