Well I don't. I get involved. If I see trouble I am in. I don't accept sitting by and watching the world turn to sh-it. The world is naturally chaos. Without human intervention and law and order, we have anarchy. Ultimately the world is what we make it.

There are a few types of attitudes when it comes to crime:

1) people who prosper from corruption and anarchy

2) The few who are trying to prevent a place from turning to sh-t. protect the innocent.

3) The worse ones of them all. The people who not only do nothing but actually turn a blind eye and stand in the way of person 2. AKA Pikey / Cleo types.

4) the people who just pretend nothing is happening until they are the victim.

I don't know about you but when I was younger I hung out with a lot of extremely bad people. One of them who is now spending a good 15 years in prison. Keep in mind the average sentence for murder in AUS is probably 5 years. So I am sure you get what I am saying. Due to various reasons I snapped out of that. Just in the right time too.

What I did realize is that good people doing nothing is why crime flourishes and communities turn to ######. Rather than your V for Vendetta scenario that you think will happen with proactive law enforcement, I envision the opposite. A batman style scenario where officials are corrupt and the innocent people are victims while nothing is done. The difference between the two is that the first scenario is a fantasy while the latter is already occurring in our daily lives. yet, the latter is also prevented in societies that hold their people accountable. In societies like Singapore where you are free to do as you please but you will also suffer the consequences if your choice harms another. I have never had someone from Singapore come to a western country and be like man you guys are so free. Quite the contrary actually.

Simple law which should be a amendment.

"You are free to do whatever you please as long as it does not harm others. If your action or lack of does, you will suffer the consequences."

A simple yet affective law than even an idiot will understand. Any who violates this law receives corporal punishment. No prison sentence no death sentence. Just corporal. I will personally guarantee that such incidents within a year will drop.
