We are also in AP for already one month. Please pray for us....

I wonder how long before she gets hard copy and Im on my way to see her?? Im all ready looking at plane tickets online. I may just fly there on the 19th of next month. I wanted to get there early anyway. And Im sure it can not be longer the 30 days after the 1st of next month. What do you guys think??

I had brad tell me his wife got her copy with in 6 to 9 days after he was approved.

I'd wait 'til you've cleared NVC. If you're one of the unlucky who gets pulled into additional processing, it can take anywhere from 2 to 7 weeks for your file to reach the embassy. We got NOA2 on 8/27, arrived at NVC on 8/31, and didn't get out until 9/22.

yup we are still in AP at NVC since August 25th arghhhhhhh

:crying::angry::crying::angry: not sure if I should be mad or cry lol

Ouch, a month in NVC AP. Have you contacted anyone for help? Spoken to an NVC supervisor? Contacted your representative, senator, or high-ranking official in the State Department?

April 4, 2009: K1 petition sent to VSC

April 7, 2009: Received by USCIS(VSC)

April 11, 2009: NOA1 hard copy received by my fiance through mail

August 25, 2009: Touched again

August 28, 2009: Received by NVC

August 29, 2009: NOA2 hardcopy received by my fiance through mail

September 1, 2009: Fiance called at NVC (Under Additional Processing)

October 01, 2009: NVC left(Praise the Lord!!)

October 15, 2009: Interview...VISA APPROVED!!!

October 21, 2009: Received text from Air21 that my Visa will be delivered soon

Chris and Mara, any news?

Also, do you know if the proceedings of your case against USCIS are available on the court's website? I think it'd be fascinating to see the judge's orders, as well as how USCIS has defended their indefensible conduct.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

We have no news.

We have a lawyer who "doesn't know anything" and thus wont answer our calls nor return them.

We rang USCIS and Chris left a msg for the Chief of staff appealing to his human side, but we are yet to hear anything back.

To be honest we are thinking of withdrawing our current application, getting married next month whilst I am still here and filing for a k3/CR1 to the USA and a Spouse visa to Australia and then play the game of which country wins.... Frankly I think it will be Australia....

Mara, I'm disgusted to hear this... I'm so sorry. I'd be ready to wring that lawyer's neck, as I'm sure you're about ready to...

There's no excuse for this, on any end. For them to have no conclusion for your case, for your lawyer to have no answers (or at least the decency to assure you that he's pursuing some)...

I hope Australia is a fast route for you both, as obviously USCIS has failed their duty.

Heck, if Obama's so interested in reforming the ways of immigration to the US... maybe it's time to send a letter to his administration, shedding light onto the stupidity of cases handled like this. Is that even possible?

Guys, don't be naive ! get hitched and live Your life happily. USCIS are total degenerate organization, that has no way of doing what the suppose to do the right way . Obama is an highly intellectual smooth talking bull$hitter who became a president by preaching what everyone wants to hear and his administration is a bunch of dirty lobbyists and politicians who are no different from the one we had with this donkey named Bush. Just don't rely on these arseholes and go on with Your own life.

Haha isn't that how all country leaders make it there? I know the one Australia has did, and will stay because he handed out a bunch of money.....

Sadly I don't think that writing to Obama will help us, its not a healthcare issue, which is what they are focused on at the moment...

We have looked into the Aussie system, and its a 4-6 month process for a spouse, right now its about 4 months, however it can be sped up if we have all the appropriate background checks for Chris. So needless to say that has been our task the last couple of weeks. We also discovered that we can move to Aus, live there for 6 months and then do direct filing if we wanna come back to the US, and unlike here it wont void his Australian visa. So to be honest it seems like the really logical way to go.

Okay how do I track my Package!!!

Are you out of NVC? That's the next step after NOA2, and before the case file goes to Kiev.

I guess they sent a letter to me stating that a letter was forwarded to the list of consulate. So I guess we are out of NVC. I call them today and they said the Consulate should get the letter and paper work in 7 to 10 days, And they well call my Fiance up and give her a list of dates to pick from for her interview.

Brad told me it is done pretty fast in the Ukraine, But Im not sure so i was just asking if any one else knew.
