Happy days on interview day! I can't wait! It seems like it has been years since I've seen him! Alot of waiting going on for all the money we have to pay! Are you getting ready for your trip???

Yep, all ready, outside of tossing everything into my bag. Was hoping I'd have that extra piece of evidence (NOA2) for the border, but the rest of my usual travel pack will have to do, I guess. I swear, if it weren't for the fact that I'll be seeing him in a couple of days, I'd be going out of my mind right now.

Glad to hear that the case has been resumes, theglassguy. I'm sure things will move quickly.

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long to be with your loved one. As for visits, it helps to be semi-unemployed. Not the best situation to be in considering it all, but at least I can cherish some of the time off.

Lawyer called yesterday, seems to think that the judge was on holidays last week so had no contact with him/her, and could only get the clerk/bailiff, so nothing happened. He seems confident that something will happen this week.

I hope it does.

Hey just got a touch this morning it shows todays day but nothing is updated on my file yet?/ My hands are shacking im so nervoise!!!!!!!! Im freacking out here people!

Well.... I was able to track a shipment by DHL to Bucharest with a pick up date of Sept. 3 and a delivery date of Sept. 7 from the Department of State. I hope that is our package.

I'll keep you updated. Chris & Mara....I will keep praying for good results in your situation. God bless.

It's supposed to do that. If you sign up for email updates, it is supposed to send you a message each time the file is updated.

I've always been curious about this. Does the email update go out every time there's a touch, or only when the status changes? Many "touches" don't result in a status change.

I have no way of knowing, as our online status didn't reflect any touches from 4/1 (presumably when they stuck it on the shelf to gather dust) until our NOA2 on 8/27.

I had a touch, no email. I didn't get the email until the status was changed. That seems to be the norm from what I've read here.

No idea. All of our status changes/touched occurred prior to receiving our NOA1 hard copy, so we weren't signed up for email updates then.

Once again, there's a difference between how it should be, and how it is. I check my email hourly, but I still go onto the USCIS website to determine if there's been a change.

it has been 5 months and a week and I haven't had a touch or a pick me up files and take a look, I think they are using some of April filer for darts.
