Grats on all the approvals guys it really exciting too see everyone moving along, to those who filed in march and have joined usin here laterly don't give up, your time will come....

I am dying to hear good news about Chris and Mara

Scott I am dieing to hear good news myself However I have none... No NOA2 in the mail, no call from our lawyer. We rang his firm yesterday turns out he is in germany till friday, an assistant was going look through his incoming mail to see if there as anything about us in there and call us back. She never did.

So it seems that we have run out of options, and we can't afford to pay the money to have the lawyer chase it anymore so we are looking into the australian immigration system and chris may be coming home to me come Christmas time...

To the troll who decided that he needed to add his/her negative 5 cents, frankly we don't want it. USCIS deals with millions of visa applications a year, and whilst yes there system sucks (I've been in it over a year now) complaining here and calling names won't do anything. The fact of the matter is you could complain about it everyday and the 200

Million odd americans that will never personally have to deal with them could care not. They aren't going to fix this system it's not in the interests of the majority to do so. VI was created for support please use it for that as everyone in thread are positive people, what you need to be to survive this process.

Mara, I am confused... I thought the USCIS was ordered to give you an answer by 8/21 no?

Hey everyone!

I got approved today! I rec'd an email from CRIS at 6:30pm today. April is on a roll!

... while we March people rot in VSC hell.

Count your blessings, April filers.

And there are those left behind from Dec, Jan, Feb as well. I'm sure anyone approved is quite thankful of their situation. No need to bring them down for our poor luck.

My Sweety has Tonsillitis this is why she is so sick. She is on some good drugs that cost 300 dollors!! But if you dont have the money you dont get whatyou need in that country.She is doing a little beter but still not out of the woods.Hope she will be fine in a few days but now she is worried about her business because she needs to run it to make money. I told her relaxe if any thing Ill send her more money.It will be fine I just hope she does not push her self to get back to work to soon,She is very proud and does not like asking me for money.

And Im feeling a little down today because I see all of this april filers getting done and there dates as pasted mine,I wish they would get mine done soon.Im all ready to buy the plane tickets and go right now.

I'm so sorry to hear that, but at the very least, I'm sure it's a comfort to know why she's sick. Not knowing adds stress and anxiety to an already hard situation. Hopefully with her medication, all will clear up quickly. *hug*

Mara, what on earth?! With the appeal and everything... there's still nothing? I have anxiously been expecting to hear wonderful news and moving ETAs from your end... I am incredibly upset to hear otherwise.

Wow....I'm really sorry that you are still waiting for the NOA 2 even after the court's decision. I'm all out of words here. I am really hoping to see your approval. When was the deadline that the court gave USCIS? Is the time over or there's still some time left?

Uscis was required by the court to hand down a decision on the 21st.... Last Friday, who knows what they are doing... Sadly it would appear that there is nothing we can really do till we get home on Sunday ( the holiday is going great weather gas been wonderful) so we just wait.... And hope... And create plan b...

So legally they have gone past the deadline, someone is in big trouble! Just thinking logically, now it's up to your lawyer to push the judge to follow through right? Thank god you have gotten to actually see each other during all this, and hopefully you will just get your notice and that will be the end of it I wish you all the best, and you should get yours before anyone!

They can be, and it wouldn't be that much of an issue but fincially things have changed and I doubt we can afford to push it anymore, now fincially the better option is chris moving to aus not me moving to the USA

I for one would gladly donate cash to the cause... just for a little satisfaction of them getting a little black eye... they deserve it... and although I understand the financial issues... they need to be held accountable... and as such I will donate!

I would gladly donate too. They should be shown that people's lives are not a toy they can play with. That those documents are not only papers. There are real people with their life on hold expecting some decision from them. Yes....I would donate too.
