...I like Richard-Joanna's better... less frightening...

And VSC seems to be like that. When half of the February filers were completed, they jumped onto March. Same when it came halfway through March filers. I think it gives the illusion of progress, but when you see poor souls like the ones approved from December... Obviously they need to clean up the ones they've got straggling behind.

Heck, I need a job. Hire me to pump out approvals!

Hey I just saw an approval with NOA1 form 4.23 yours must be coming soon too :)

I'd be happy with just a touch. Just change that silly date on our case file from April 26th. That would make me ecstatic.

I don't know why the gloom and doom has set in these last couple of days. But right now, it seems like it will be an incredible feat if I'm home in Florida before Christmas.

Come on, VSC. Keep our spirits up with an April approval or two (or five, or ten, or all?).

Where do I get my pom-poms?

Hey I feel you,I have been this way for close to 2 weeks now,As my date came closer the more stressed I have become. Its like now Im at the end of the first part Im ready to get on with the second!! Its driving me nuts.I must check my file online 20 times a day.Ill most likly know before I get a email from them because I check it so much LOL

Yeah, I've seen a few from mere days before ours to our very date. Hence getting so antsy.

I can't imagine how those of you with early April dates fare while seeing approvals come for cases that were filed after yours. Or couples in March, February, and the like. Eek.

I have been looking at some of those that are dated for 12/08 and found that most of them are China or a country that have 4 months added on the waiting time. This countrys give them a extended 4 month waiting,I think they are red flag from the start.

I have a friend that told me they have put a 4 month hold on visa from IRaq. Its been red flaged so now if you want to merry some one from this country you may see another 4 months added on to your 6 months.

Hello, everyone !

this is my first post here. Nice to meet You all. Here is my 2 cents. I think VSC is very ineffective and there is no system whatsoever. I sense that some of us will be left behind the same way as March filers or even remnants of February. This is government agency and You all know what is our governement like any others - a big pile of overweight clerks who cant give a damn about lives. I am venting since i saw some approvals with NOA1 way later than me

Hi Everyone! This is my first time posting here. I have been a daily reader of this thread as well as the March thread...and it has been very helpful! It's so much harder for close friends and family to understand what we're going through. I am very happy for those April filers who have already received their NOA2! Congratulations to you all! However, I can't help but feel frustrated. I'm one of the early April filers and when I first saw that they were beginning to process April's....I got excited and verrry anxious! But everyday I log on and check my account like 20 to 30 times a day and see no change since last touched- April 17th. I hope to hear something soon!! I agree that VSC needs to get their act together. I feel so bad for the March filers who have yet to receive their NOA2! They are now going on to almost 6 months of waiting.

I also feel bad for the people who appear on Igor's List to have been passed over. I once sent a PM with "moral support" (I don't understand that expression 100%!). I like to believe the best in people, that the federal employees are not just "a pile of overweight clerks who don't care about people's lives", that they make an honest attempt to take the cases in proper order but some cases take longer for some reason. I know it is easy to get jaded, and to feel helpless in our situation. We are eager and impatient to be with the loves of our lives. I am trying to stay on the upbeat side. Well, hope I don't have to maintain that attitude at 5, 6, 7 months . . . !

I wonder what the number of these overweight employees out there at VSC who really trying to process our applications in speedy manner or regardless if size they are simply lazy since they got a cushy job and never worry about being laid off for non performance since they all hold GOVERNMENT jobs ?

Wow, I just read that most of the filers that aren't approved are from China, why is that? My fiance is from china and I seem to be passed over too, yes it is a little early to say that but that is how you feel when many others after you have been approved and I haven't even had a touch

One heck of a first impression you just made  ... nothing lazy about them given the number of filings they have to deal with every day... there are better ways to vent your frustration other than attacking the employees at USCIS and making posts here that make you look like a real tool...
