WE HAVE GOT A TOUCH!!!! This is the first touch since April 23..So excited..

I think your time is coming...those who said they got their NOA2's on Friday have received some notification or other

Wish you were right my friend but we learned that we got the RFE today.I don't know what they will request exactly?

What a bummer. But as Tina&Roland said, at least they are working on your file. Just wait for the hardcopy of the RFE. In the meantime check your copy of the I-129F to see what it might possibly be so that you can send it as soon as you get the actual RFE notification. After that you will get the NOA2 sooner than you expect.

Thank you very much for your concern and optimist views my friends.I will take your advice and check my copy of the I-129F.I think 'Request for Additional Evidence & Request for Initial Evidence' are different from each other,am I wrong? And ours is the second one,I mean 'Initial Evidence'.Not sure but just a thought,it's something about missing information.

Maybe thats why they want more proof,I hope I dont run into this problem, Me and Anya really will on have know each other for a year this Nov, But we are so in love and talk to each other every day of the week,We have cams on out computers and then she gets home from work Im just getting to work.We spend most of our free time chating and seeing each other,We have not stop doing this now for close to a year.If thats not love then I dont know what is.I hope they dont use that stupid 2 year thing because 2 years is crazy.Meny people fall in love in the first few week.

The two year requirement is not for length of having known one another, just that you must've met or seen your significant other within the last two years (with the exception of extreme circumstances, etc etc). Many couples apply after only having known each other a year. As long as you have met Anya in person (and can prove that), you shouldn't have any problems.

Hope you see your NOA2 soon!

Chileck, I'm sorry to hear about the RFE. But, as others have said, this means that your file is at least on someone's desk and waiting to be worked on. Once they receive whatever it is they're missing, it'll continue on in the queue. And it does sound as if they're asking for something they feel is missing from the package from what you've said, not that require more of any particular thing. Filter through your initial package and take a look. Maybe it was something simple?

I myself wrote a date wrong on my own G325A (employment date, they didn't seem concerned so it still hasn't been changed), despite checking it over and over until the words blended! It happens.

Unfortunately, it also has to be pointed out that it isn't unheard of to receive RFEs for things you did, in fact, send. *shakes head*

Moning everyone! Another day of hoping and waiting! :-) Wonder how many NOA2s will be sent out from VSC today. Seems like it's been doing better than CSC lately. Least that's what I gathered from reading other threads.

So how is every one holding up today?? For some reason I keep checking my in box LOL.I see one person approved today and its around the same time of our date.Im pushing 150 days now come on GUYS Give it to me all ready!! LOL

Trying to keep busy. The days I have off are the worst; I have nothing but time to check every list, website, etc possible. It's driving me crazy.

At the very least, I can look forward to going back to Florida in a couple of weeks. I'll have to enjoy it, as it seems like my consulate (Montreal) is slacking a fair bit too, and even if we get our NOA2 within the next little while, it'll still be November/December or later before we get an interview.

kathy, thanks for the pick me up, but i just found out that my fiance in China is a member of the CCP because of her job, so when we get to #3 and 4 we are looking at a 1-4 month delay for more background check, which will be given a blue slip at the interview. I am OK with that but her boy will be 21 in April and we might run out of time, this really hurts because it could take years for the boy to get a visa then, I am so sad, but i sure hope we all get our noa2 very soon
