I've been looking all over the place today for approvals...did anyone see any? Should I be looking somewhere else? :huh:

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Interview Date: 12/03/09

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Visa in Hand!

Date of Arrival: 12/26/09

Date of Marriage: 02/21/10

Sadly Chris and I didn't have a check this time around (they acknowledged that we had already paid so we didn't have to pay a second time)

hello

I got a letter from NVC dated August 7 saying they have received and approved my petition 129f and they will forward it within a week to the appropriate visa-issuing post where the interview will take place.

I immediately called and they told me it was shipped to the consulate on August 6.

so far so good.

NVC things are really moving fast now.

now i am trying to track the shipment but i have no luck. will try later. maybe DHL hasn't updated their system yet

I immediately called and they told me it was shipped to the consulate on August 6.

so far so good.

NVC things are really moving fast now.

now i am trying to track the shipment but i have no luck. will try later. maybe DHL hasn't updated their system yet

Good to know that once it's approved by CIS every step takes couple days or a week or so to complete.

I will keep you all posted. But remember that my case went to the US interests section in Havana Cuba. Things may be a little different there than in your fiance's country.

And for the sake of all other filers at VSC, I really do hope the upswing in approvals is a sign of consistency there once again. Such long delays without reason is so discouraging, so here's to hoping that they keep doin' as they're doin'. :thumbs:

thanks...I'm sure yours will be here before u know it...we're #892 from all petitions list and I think we were 210 on the unaproved list...don't be discouraged...wish u a speddy reunion...

April 7, 2009: Received by USCIS(VSC)

April 11, 2009: NOA1 hard copy received by my fiance through mail

August 24, 2009: Touched and it says that Petition for Alien Fiancee was approved dated August 23, 2009

August 25, 2009: Touched again

August 28, 2009: Received by NVC

August 29, 2009: NOA2 hardcopy received by my fiance through mail

September 1, 2009: Fiance called at NVC (Under Additional Processing)

October 01, 2009: NVC left(Praise the Lord!!)

October 15, 2009: Interview...VISA APPROVED!!!

October 21, 2009: Received text from Air21 that my Visa will be delivered soon

October 22, 2009: VISA RECEIVED!!!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME
