You are not the only one. hehehe. I'm putting all the evidence in a big expandable folder with dozens of pockets. When you close the folder it looks like a briefcase with handle and everything.

Now....in each pocket I have everything organized in transparent folders that are easy to disassemble if she needs to take the pages out. I have the following so far.

1. phone bills separated by month with all our calls and text messages highlighted.

2. A complete copy of the I-129F.

3. My W-2's from the previous 3 years each with a copy of it's tax return

4. A full list of our Skype records (copied each screenshot to make it as genuine as possible).

5. All of our emails so far.

6. All of our snail mails so far.

I still have to include some of our chat sessions from Yahoo Messenger, all our photos, I-134, employer letter, payment stubs, Interchange of messages from Facebook, and whatever else we can put our hands on.

Maybe it sounds like too much. But because is close to impossible for me to make another visit for the rest of this year and she can't get a B-2, I'm sending as much evidence as I can.

Also she looked into the embassy reviews and made a list of the question all of them were asked and we are practicing on them.

I really hope is enough for them to prove our relationship. All will be put in God's hands. ^_^

PEACE..............

That's what I started out with while compiling evidence for the package itself. But it was smaller and just didn't suit once I started adding evidence post-package.

So I bought about a million sheet protectors and that binder, and that's been working for me now. Each page in there is a sheet protector, organized by trip, type of evidence, etc... Our package is in there too, and all of my research post-visa as well.

Though now it's getting crowded, and I may have to get a second binder for all of the post-visa stuff, as I don't want to take that to the interview with me anyhow.

I started with the binder way. I also bought a 3-hole puncher but I changed to that expandable briefcase once I saw it. It almost defies the laws of physics. hehehe. For the photos I plan on putting them on sheet protectors and then in a small binder.

How I will send everything? Well.....I still have a small luggage from the set I bought to my trip to Romania. I will put all in there so that she can also use that little luggage along with the other one I left to her. (Please God let her use them!!!!!!!!!!). That way I might be hitting 2 birds with the same stone.

Lets see what happens.

its a shame a big binder that is well organized wont fit through the slot in the window for the interview.

Erm, guess I require some explaining with that there. What window?

I was under the impression that the only things that go through the initial window (prior to the interview itself) was my medical stuff, passport, interview letter, etc. Why would all of my evidence, etc, be given beforehand?

Most interviews are through a window.. the same as the initial one... Usually everything is asked for before the interview.... all goes through at same time.

Guess it's time for me to do more research into the interview itself... I was under the impression that the interview was in an actual office, with our interview requirements (vaccinations, medical results, interview letter, passport, passport photos, and fee) being handled prior to that, during the waiting period.

Definitely time to look that information up!

Edit: Er, then again, I'm speaking of my own Consulate. It could very well be different for different countries.

At least in Romania is through a window. That's why I changed from the binder approach to the individual folders inside that briefcase. Whatever the CO asks for is ready to pass through the window.

Ack, well wouldn't you know...

I've spent so much time focusing on the paperwork itself, I didn't even do enough research to see how the silly papers are handed to the CO. Through simple skimming over the reviews, I've only caught the "CO looked over our pictures, paperwork, asked about such and such.." routine. I never paid attention to what and where!

Thank you so much, everyone... I guess I'm going to have to look at my organization now. Oi.

Hey....don't worry. We all basically learned about this during the process. It wasn't until my angel told me some weeks ago about the interviews through the window that I realized I was preparing the evidence following the wrong road. So don't worry at all.

there is a video in the UK area that shows a sample interview area.... the window has been compared to a movie box office window... putting things in smaller binders will go through the slot IMO..

That is quite right. Now all our evidence are in separate folders inside the briefcase. Only the photos will be in a separate small binder.

Now a question from me. hehehe....

In that first moment when you met in person.....How was it? I'm asking only about the arrival because we all know how sad is the "good bye".

In my case.....after flying a little more than 24 hours (Puerto Rico - Newark - Amsterdam - Romania) I was dead tired. I looked like something a cat dragged from a trashcan. But as soon as those doors opened and I saw all the people waiting for family and friends I saw her smiling face. Wow...what a moment. My heart almost ran to her if it wasn't inside my chest. That was, so far, the happiest moment of my life. That was on March 24. I still remember every minute as if it happened just yesterday. And I will never forget it.

Mine was actually tough. My parents were supposed to drive me across the border to pick him up at the airport (as I couldn't figure out where to go in Michigan for the life of me, and it was $800 cheaper to fly into Detroit than into Windsor), but there were issues at the border, so he had to take a shuttle across the border from the airport to a hotel in Windsor.

Most nerve-wracking time of my life!

And then, when he stepped out of the car... my heart just stopped. I smiled the biggest, goofiest smile I ever have to match his and embraced him tighter than I ever have anyone in my life. And of course, this being the first weekend in December, the poor boy was soooo cold! I remember one of the first things I said to him was giving him heck for only wearing a sweater when I told him we had snow on the ground, haha.

So, it started out stressful, but it went reaaaaally well from there. And to make it even better, it was actually a good three months sooner than we had expected to meet. We thought we would have to wait until the following February, when he his vacation time would be coming up... but a week beforehand, I made some joking comment that he should come out for the weekend and see the snow and me... and he booked plane tickets to do just that.
