Its really hard the leaving bit isn't it? I sat bawling in the LAX terminal as my flight finalized its cleaning before boarding, but I won't tell him that, I'm meant to be stronger then that lol.

The last trip was meant to be our last without our visa, this next one is meant to be our last now, I'm meant to be there b thanksgiving, hopefully before christmas, but sadly I have little faith in this system so I will believe it the day I set foot on US soil with my visa in hand.

On a brighter note, Chris mailed our stuff to the lawyer on Friday so he should have received it today, hopefully 6 weeks from this point ill be telling you all how happy I am to finally see what an NOA2 looks like...

You are not alone. It was extremely hard for me to separate from my angel at the airport. The worst moment in my life so far. To make things worse I couldn't let go all that pain until I got back to Puerto Rico almost 24 hours later. Before going to sleep I called my angel to tell her that I got back well. After that I could not hold it anymore. In the dark I cried like a little kid. Could sound funny for someone that doesn't know what we all here are going through. But I did and I'm not ashamed to say it.

Like you....we are aiming to be together hopefully sometime before christmas. But we'll see.

shhhh - i know what you mean - leaving is the worse part - this is my 3rd trip here and i know the loneilness i will feel Thursday - it sucks - going back to the us alone, not sleeping, not wanting to go out as all you see is happy couples - it is really hard not to let this overshadow the last few days here

Yes I know exactly what you mean. It didn't matter how happy we were in the moment. Always that dark cloud showed it's ugly face to remind us that we had to separate soon.

So we have been talking about this every now and then. About how great it would be to be together and make long term plans no matter how simple they are. And better yet, to enjoy them knowing that we won't have to separate anymore. I really can't wait to have that feeling.

COME ON VERMONT!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU THERE?????? WE CERTAINLY ARE HERE!!!!!!

I didn't have my official breakdown until I got home last time, but I lost it a little bit while waiting in line at security, with him standing right next to me. I'm going to try to be real strong now. I have thirty hours aboard a Greyhound to break down (and appear completely unstable to all those around me, hehe).

The part that's driving me nuts right now is that I've got no reason to go back. I could stay here for a month and it wouldn't be any sweat to me; I've barely got a job waiting for me back home, if at all. I know that's weighing on his mind like it has been mine. But I know I should do the right thing and go back, attempt to find something to fill time/make us some extra money before coming over... It's just so hard not feeling like you have a place anywhere.

Wonder what those at VSC get paid... maybe I can apply for a job there when I cross over...

In the craziness of finally getting here, I actually forgot to jump on and let everyone know about how hassled I was at the border! Oh boy, did I ever get some so-and-so for an officer first thing in the freaking morning.

Heh, maybe that's part of why I want to stay longer. The idea of simply coming back on a visit doesn't sound appealing until after crossing over.

If you can stay the full time of the Visa wavier and I was you I would, i learnt my lesson last June doing the right thing meant we were apart for 6 months, really no fun at all.

Hey Chris.....I see you played WoW. What character were you there and your SO? I was a paladin called Alderan but only reached lvl 64 before my pc started to go the way of the dodo. hehe
