Sam I am soooooo happy you got an interview so quickly! I was a little worried about that after reading all the 6 month horror stories and waiting for interviews in canada!

Packet: Never received. The consulate was nice enough to send us a letter via email, along with a list of approved doctors and translators. My fiance can easily pick up the forms required when he goes for his medical and translations.

*Update 11/26/09* Medical complete! Picking up the packet was smooth and easy! One week until our interview!! Can't wait!!

Call from embassy to go pick up his passport with visa!: 12/11/09

Well it is nice to see everyone is getting to the end of this journey. We are still waiting for our interview date, as we have sent in #3 to Guangzhou and they even tex message my fiance Monday night that they received her #3 package, so soon we will have a interview date. It has been a long journey, but it is all wroth it in the end. It is so refeshing to hear all the good new for the April filers, something I will never forget.

A big CONGRATULATIONS for you!!!!!!!!!!

On another note.....Corina and me are finally together. This is like a dream come true. She's enjoying the sights here in Puerto Rico. Things can't get any better. Now to begin the next stage very soon. I have to say again thanks to God and those here in VJ to make our lives a paradise.

Thanks everyone, I call DOC this morning and they told me the they have our file and they just haven't put the interview date in as of yet, so maybe some time next week we will know a date. I need to get a ticket and get out of here as soon as I know the date. We did a lot of research on the CCP thing and one couple sent me what Guangzhou gave his fiance to answer and send in. So I made a copy of the questions and she will have a letter, the questions and the answers with her to give to the interviewer. Many on this 001 in China say the CCP thing is not a big deal. So just maybe things will go well>
