good news!!! My fiancee will have her visa 15 days from today. The interviewer told us they need 3 weeks to process it.

Hey guys congrats to everyone that already had passed their interviews

I have some great news too I passed my interview yesterday and now I'm waiting to receive my passport with the visa in it. The interview was very easy and everybody was extremely nice. It is such a great relief because I was so stressed and nervous about it after all those long months of waiting. My medical exam was the day before and it was pretty easy and went very fast too.

We are so excited we only need to buy the ticket today and we are going to be together real soon

I have some news too I think..... I called the DOS this morning and the woman said Congrats your interview is sceduled for Nov 20th....... But this was just a few hours after the embassy said it could not be scheduled yet.... Oh well I am thinking positive right now...

Who is left? out of our little group? Us april filers? Chris and Mara started this thread But they are Married now.... Anyone???? not atleast have an interview scheduled?

I called Doc Monday and nothing, then I called DOC this morning at 8:00 and she told me #3 was sent out today. I hope I will find out the interview date soon.

Hi folks!

My fiancee is just one hour away!!!! Rinda came to the USA yesterday and spent the night with my family in California. Now she is on the plane and will be landing soon. I can hardly wait! I'm working in Minnesota this winter, so she is going to be in for a shock. I left her a warm jacket and some gloves in California, so perhaps she won't be totally frozen. Eventually we will make it home to Miami, but for the next few months we will be travelling and living with the cold and rain and snow (expected next week). I guess this is a bit of a bait-and-switch from the tropical lifestyle I told her that I lived in South Florida ... haha. At least we will be together.

Good luck to all those still waiting to be with the one they love. Our life together is just starting and we wish everyone the same joy and happiness as we feel right now!!!

We passed our interview and have visa in hand - we will fly to the states on monday

lol it's Desi Thank you and I hope the time flies by fast for you and you'll be together and happy soon I have my ticket now and I'm leaving on 31 this month I just hope I receive my visa soon

We are going through New Delhi which they say is a tough nut to crack. Lots of people have received 221g but hopefully we can satisfy the CO. Keep us in your prayers please.

We are home finally - we got a "nice" surprise at POE (Houston) with another "interview"

After a 10 hour trip from London to Houston - we went though customs - where my fiance was questioned for 40 mins, then was walked out where I was questioned publicly for another 10-15 mins

Was almost a no go till I pulled out my passport and proved I had visited for total of 4 times and was over a total of 2 months spent together - was amazing to say the least.

BUT we are home

NOW hopefully we can take a few weeks breather - marry and start the next process .................
