guys, how do you receive notification of your interview date? email? regular mail? phone? all/some of the above?

Sydney Embassy btw. have sent my form saying that I am ready for interview, just waiting around to get a date now. would love to know how it comes.

According to the Syndey, Australia Consulate Info page here on VJ, you'll receive your interview date via a letter contained in Packet 4. That page may have other information that you find useful as well.

Hello Everyone!

We have reached the end of the process ... Rinda is on her way to the USA now! She boarded the flight about two hours ago.

She picked up her visa Monday afternoon. Unfortunately, she was the only K1 to get her visa at the Bangkok Embassy we think. The consular officer had apparently become sick again and all of the others had not been processed through the system. They were all told to come back again another day. Rinda only got hers we think because she had been first in line for the rescheduled interview. In any case, I'm thankful because we were able to use a one-way frequent flyer ticket for her and I didn't have to change the date.

We wish the best for everyone else still in the process. I'm sure we will still follow VJ as we go through the rest of the immigration process for the next ten years. Thanks for all the support and stories. This has been a long process, but now we will be together and that makes the rest bearable. My goal was to have Rinda in the USA before Thanksgiving. We accomplished this with some time to spare, but only because we had VJ to inform us about the details.

We go tomorrow at 1 pm for interview - we ended up getting apt w/ bootlegged internet - am so ready for this to be done so we can relax and enjoy rest of the week here without this hanging in the air. We went to medical yesterday and was very easy took like 10 mins total after being called back and we were able to pick up results at 330 pm same day.

Keep us in your positive thoughts - even though has been great already just being here :D lol

BUT will be super with knowing for sure - we have prepped the papers we are taking, and will go over test questions tonight - so will let you know .

CONGRATS to everyone who has received visa !!!

we actually met another member of the forum yesterday getting her medical done same day - she had interview today - so hope she did well !! She has a cr-1 in process.

Hi Guys, I am so frustrated... 41 days AP at NVC now our file hasnt shown up at the Embassy...NVC says sent it oct 7... Dont know really what to do next..... This is Crazy...

oh my timeline isnt correct... only the electronic copy has reached the embassy...
