showering, going to Target & Trader Joes, changing the bedsheets, doing laundry

I can't wait for this to be my life.

I'm reading this instead of:

Writing some new pitches for media, writing invoice letters for clients and developing a demo of a product I don't know how to use so we can include screen shots in a video I directed.

Which I'm pretty sure all need to get done before 5:30 p.m. Sooo not happening!

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

There are times when we joke about how he can go teach the kiddies and I'll stay at home instead. I SOOOOO wish I could take time off from life and take care of what I want to take care of... stopping the world so I can do laundry and clean the house without losing time. You know, that kind of stuff. Be able to run errands during "normal business" hours. lol

I totally understand what you're saying! It's so nice to do chores/errands during the week, and have the weekends open. When I worked full time, I did all my cleaning/shopping on a Sat or Sun and that sucked. Seriously, I can honestly say that since I moved here, I haven't had many bored/restless feelings, even though it was over winter. I keep myself busy and productive, I wasn't one of those people that got bored to tears not working. I could definitely be a stay at home Mom! I do need to start looking for a job, but I've really enjoyed this break!

On a completely different note... Jill -- I just realized you got your AoS in 3 1/2 months! Yea!!! That sounds great to me (compared to the 7 months for the K1)... but is that the norm?

Hi July,

No, that's not the norm! I don't know HOW I got so lucky to be approved this quick. I sent in my AOS late December, right around the holidays too. And I only just got my AP/EAD a few weeks ago! And, I was approved without an interview (which is normal if your case is transferred to California Service Center). I know many people who mailed their AOS in September, transferred to CSC and not yet approved. Also, USCIS current timelines certainly do not list 3-4 months. So either my package was super organized (I tried to make it really good) or I had a fast case worker? Also to note, I had no RFEs. If you have an RFE if can set your case back as it moves to the bottom of the pile. But I'm happy, as my Visa Journey started Feb. 19, 2008 and ended April 2, 2009! Not bad at all!

Hmmm!!! We might have to hire you as a consultant when we reach that stage!! That (your timeline) is AMAZING!!!

I'll be here to help when your time comes, I'm sure you'll have questions as I sure did! My friends and family tell me I have OCD when it comes to organization, etc. but in times like this, it really helps  I went over that package with a fine tooth comb at least 20 times before sending it out, I did NOT want to get an RFE for overlooking something small
