Can i still get my stimulus next year if i dont apply for ITIN today?

my experience i would forget the number for now and amend the return later after you have received the real social number, it can delay the tax form for weeks if a return and they will automatically amend it to a lesser return amount, not worth the trouble and wait

I am about to send this W-7 Form together with my notarized and affidavit of passport and original marriage contract, however we are already preparing the documents for the AOS since we already paid it.

Is ok if I will still pursue to apply for ITIN or will it cause any confusion with the AOS papers?

Please give me some advise about this.

Its ok to apply for an ITIN. When sending the AOS papers are you sending your 2008 tax returns? If so then you probably need to include copies of the W-7 application for the ITIN with your AOS papers.

Alternately, you can file as single, and ammend the tax return later.

My husband has his w2 and the 1040s for 2006, 2007, and 2008.

So we need to include the Tax transcript from 2006 to 2008? The lady from the IRS said that they will not yet release the Transcript for 2008..

I faxed the IRS for my 2008 transcript, and I received it in the mail 4 days later. The lady at IRS was mistaken.

What are the steps for to receive the 2008 transcript via fax?? My tax return was filed last week, I would love to have my tax return transcripts before I leave in two weeks.

I decided not to request for ITIN... its time consuming and we will just ammend it once I get my SSN..
