Hi all,

I (beneficiary) will have to move before we get NOA2 etc. How do I report my change of address. Should we just wait for NOA2 and then notify the consulate?

I saw that there is a form for the petitioner, but none for the beneficiary.

Thank you.

chances of your file being updated before is slim.... do it with the consulate after the file arrives

YMMV

Concur, Umit changed her address in anticipation of moving here, and when I called NVC, they all ready had sent it to the embassy, and when I contacted the embassy, they said that she can update when she sends in the packet info (everything for Ankara is online, they do not mail you anything).

You may want to contact the consulate to see what they require.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
