I sent my I129f application on February 5, 2009 and it was received on February 10, 2009. I just received the visa approval notice in the mail today (it's April 2, 2009). That's only 45 days from receipt to approval - I am impressed. I have noticed that USCIS web site has not been updated and it still says my case is pending. I also did not receive e-mail notification, but that is good. This is going to be one BIG surprise for my fiance when I let her know.

Btw, my fiance is from Malaysia. For those of you waiting for Malaysia visas, there is hope...

Congratulations!

We received a quick response as well. (02/13/09-03/19/09) The website is still showing pending. I am scrambling to get everything sent because I am afraid the interview will be quick and I/we will not be informed timely.

I understand the NVC will send a letter, but sounds like that isn't fool proof. I attempted to contact them, but I haven't had much luck.

I hope for a smooth and fast process for you.

My fiance is from Morocco.

Congratulations! CSC is moving like super fast it seems, there is only one explinaton for it too...... the Governator! I believe no other speculations.

To bad I'm with Vermont, haha.. all is good in time. ;). Congrats again!

01/15/2009 -- she arrives in USA

01/16/2009 -- proposed! she says YES!!! :)

02/14/2009 -- 6 days of bliss in Walt Disney World (6mo given on I94)

02/23/2009 -- sent I129F Next Day Air

02/25/2009 -- NOA1

03/01/2009 -- Touched

04/09/2009 -- She flies to USA for 9 day visit (6mo given on I94)

06/20/2009 -- She arrives for summer visit (6mo given on I94, warned about too frequent visits)

06/30/2009 -- NOA2

Note: petition processed thru NVC and sent to embassy in about 1 week :o

Note: got an initial interview date in Sept, but decided to put it off so she could extend her vacation here thru end of October

10/21/2009 -- She returns to Poland :(

It sounds like the USCIS CSC is putting itz money into actually processing applications rather than making a website that tells you how long you have to wait. :D
