I sincerely hope we are approved this month  It would indeed be most welcome.

Our I 130 NOA 1 was the 20th Oct 2008 so all being well this month please.

Being separated is tough in that there is so much going on in a marriage and being apart especially for a protracted time is so stressful knowing that there are so many things to be done at home and you are not there to do them. I suppose when you are together you are spoilt and get so used to one another and do things for one another as much out of habit as need. Oh well we shall keep checking the mail and hoping and praying that this process will not take much longer.

Best wishes to all

Arthur and Roberta

we'd like to jump in on this thread, as March approvalies never made one, as far as i know...our petition was approved 3-13....it'd be cool to do this together with others...i plan on manipulating the NVC process for a July interview (dont want to have a "CASE COMPLETE" at NVC til after 2nd week of May), which means i need to slow it down a bit....

I know things have changed at NVC, but the last time I went thru NVC (aug-sep 2008) our AVR NEVER changed from "NO RECORD FOUND" even after all documents were submitted and a "CASE COMPLETE" was issued...EVERY time (everyday) I called them I spoke to a LIVE rep...it's also a good way to find (and deal with) any RFE's...good luck everyone

Not to discourage anyone on this thread.. But lately (since March), it been taking 10 to 15 days to get a case #. I was going nuts during those days because USCIS won't tell if they still have the case and NVC (AVR and operator) kept telling me that they don't have it. I called everyday.... So, I say just wait it out... Start working on NVC papers/documents, start reading shortcuts, I even worked on prepping interview material during this wait (questions, evidence of bonafide marriage/relationship, etc). Good luck to all of you and I hope things speed up for you all!!!! :)
