Waiting for IV bill

I've noticed other people's IV bills have been sent about the day after their DS-3032 form was accepted. Well mine was accepted Monday 3/30 and the NVC STILL hasn't emailed me the bill. I haven't called them because I suspect I'll get the "wait 2-4 weeks" line. I realize I've been lucky so far with my turnaround times, but I've got everything ready to go except the damn IV coversheet :angry: . Says "not invoiced" on the website. Never thought I'd see the day when I long for a government department to send me a bill ...

NVC has slowed down due to the recent flood of approvals and switch to their new email system. Hang in there, it has taken some folks 1 week to get the IV bill generated.

06/22/2009 - 2 Year Green Card Received!!!!!!

02/06/2013 - Application Sent
02/13/2013 - NOA (Priority Date Feb 8th)
02/13/2013 - Biometrics Appt. Letter Received
02/21/2013 - Early Bio Appt. (Original March 15th)
02/26/2013 - Place Inline for Interview

04/24/2013 - Interview scheduled

05/31/2013 - Interview - Recommended for Approval

XX/XX/2013 - Oath Ceremony

Just a heads up.Make sure u just dont go by the website status as I paid mine when it was updated from 'Not Invoiced ' to "Not paid" and NVC said I paid it before the bill was generated.It taking for ever to get it straighten out now.Speak to an operator to check when it is generated or wait for IV BILL EMAIL.Best of Luck

Nov 1,08 Citizenship certificate sent

Jan 3,09 Case upgraded.

Jan 6,09 TOUCHED!!!

Feb 13,09 Approved : )

Mar 2,09 bill paid online,DS-3032 emailed

Mar 4,09 NVC recvd fee

Mar 10,09 AOS sent

Mar 30,09 mailed DS-230

Apr 13,09 CASE COMPLETED(per operators)

Apr 20,09 FINAL REVIEW

Apr 21,09 CASE COMPLETED (per AVR)

Apr 23,09 called:INTERVIEW JUNE 24th

Jun 24,09 AP, 1-3 months

Calling DOS begins,here is what I was told

Jul 7,09 No info @ DOS

Jul 10,09 Case sent to DC-pending

Jul 17,09 Pending

Jul 24,09 Pending,you can call every day for update but the day they call him for passport it means something is up so you get to know it before we do

Jul 31,09 Pending AP

Aug 06,09 Call from USEM requesting to submit passport

Aug 07,09 Every thing looks very good,visa issuance is up to the consulate!!!

Aug 07,09 Passport submitted

Aug 07,09 USEM is requesting applicant's passport :)

Aug 17,09-call 1 Visa issued Aug 3rd,EM recvd passport on 10th but still havent returned it

Aug 17,09-call 2 Case pending some kind of processing (URGHHHHHHHHH NOT AGAIN)

Aug 18,09 call to pick up passport,picked up from AMEX

Sep 26,09 REUNION :)

Thanks for the heads-up, atk. Yesterday the website did change from Not Invoiced to Not Paid, but I'm resisting the temptation to pay until I get the email, hopefully tomorrow ... The AVR also changed slightly from "the DS-3032 has been accepted" to something like "please advise if the agent has changed". I think the bill generation is imminent ...

I hate Sundays when nothing happens! :wacko:

you can throw saturdays in there as well...our first trip through NVC was done the "old school" way, where you had to fight NVC operators to get your IIN # and then proceed to pay on-line if the bills were generated...now that they have the new e-mail system in place, i am wondering if in fact it is actually more efficient...i have read posts of people paying their fees and then having the status changing back to "NOT PAID"...but either way, GOOD LUCK to us all

I made it through NVC right before their switch to the email system. I think the new system will be more efficient, as long as NVC can get through this flood of approvals from the service centers. Their new email system definitely has glitches, and the fact that the payment system and the NVC case system are separate and need to remain in synch is also causing problems.

FINALLY got it and paid. Let's hope it shows up as PAID tomorrow so I can mail this thing off - it's been gathering dust on my desk for nearly a week ... Then I can officially join the "Waiting for approval ..." thread. :star:

Also hoping it's a week of good news and progress for all.

thats great news...i'm still waiting for our ds-3032 and AOS bill...the DS-230 is the final link...good luck
