Hi, On March 25 I had my aos interview, It was successful, the officer told me that everything was ok . Now, more than one week later I haven´t received anything, I was expecting to receive the WELCOME LETTER within a week after the interview. There is not updates of my case online ( Still pending), but I know that sometimes online information of the case is useless...

Should I be worried or I am in the frame time??

tHank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't worry. Lot's of people have waited more than 2 weeks. And most important DO NOT reply on your online case updates. I've received my interview letter about 1 month ago and there is still no updates on the website. If your interview finished on a positive note, I doubt there is any reason to worry. Try not to think about it, a watched kettle never boils... and when you least expect it your mail box will give you what you want most!

Congratulations on a positive interview!

We recieved the welcome letter about 2 weeks after the interview and the green card about the next day. And in between the interview and green card we got the EAD and AP. We suddenly got dumped on by USCIS. Don't worry

If you have your GC do you still have to apply for AP to travel?

No. It is a "freebie" to apply for the AP and EAD at the same time as the AOS. So why not? As it turns out they are worth about the price you pay as you will get them all about the same time, at least thats how it seems in most cases. Once you have the green card you do not need either the AP or the EAD, with one exception. If a person who holds a green card will be out of the country for more than 12 months, they will need to apply for and get an AP before they leave. Also, if they needed a visa to visit a particular country before, they usually will still need a visa (country dependent) but in general it is much easier to obtain if they have a US permanent residency. Ukrainians are routinely refused tourist visas to western Europe, for example, but can obtain them relatively easy once they are US residents.

Thanks for your answers, I guess the only thing I can do now is to wait.. I hope to have some news next week. If I have not received anything in one month then I will go for an infopass.
