I have a few questions regarding completing the i-485

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485.pdf

1. The box next to social security no. asks for A# (if any) what does A# no. mean?

2. the I-94 box, is this is indented bold black no. across the top left of the i94 card?

3. I am currently a student married to my American wife. I am applying for change of status, in the box application type, do I tick B?

4. Nonimmigrant Visa no. where can I find this?

5. on page 2, list your present husband/ wife/ children etc, there is a box that says "Appling with you?" My wife is concurrently filing an i-130 we, will be filing them at the same time, is this yes or no?

A# is referring to the Alien Registration number. You would find that on the Alien Registration ID, if you have one.

1) A# if you used a K-Visa to enter the USA it may be on the I-129F NOA2 letter above the benificiary's name.

2) YES

3) Check A because you will be filing an I-130 along with the I-485.

4) Typically a red number on your VISA.

5) YES You list your US Citizen spouse there.

with regards to question 3. how come the application type is A and not B. as my spouse will apply for adjustment of status (applied concurrently)?
It is "A" You are adjusting status based on the I-130 that is being filed by a US CITIZEN.

"B" is for special cases where you are adjusting status on a derivative status visa petition, example, O-1, and O-2 O-1 is worker that is adjusting status and their spouse who is in the USA on the O-2 is adjusting status based on the O-1 adjusting status. The O-2 adjusting status checks "B" on their application.
